SIAP - top 42 factions get grand prize?

After every battle, the splash screen that pops up with the battle results says the top 42 factions will receive the grand prize. Did I miss the thread where they mentioned what this was all about?

I think because there is so much wrong with this event that this is the least of most people's worries. We can't even get an accurate tabulation of our scores.

The number 42 was left over from the Beta testing. Just something the Dev's forgot to scrub.

regardless if it is another mistake from the dev, or a "slip" on their part, now everyone is gona be complaining
there is no clarification on the issue
Perhaps lots of factions are spending somegold to stayn in top 42 to get the prizes and now GREEd, will have to "honor" their mistake

anyways 42 factions is about 2,300 players or so (depending on members in each faction) out of millions that play the game

the only thing will be that probably FIRST place will want and deserve an additional prize for being first

Agree! I'm not in PUN, but would be FURIOUS if they gave out the top prize to more than one faction.

I think the top 42 win a surprise on their next cc/checking statement when they see how much was spent :rolleyes:

The only reason I'm curious is because if there is an extra prize for getting in the top 42, this may affect how much gold my faction members spend for the rest of the event as we are currently in 32nd according to my android faction members. I definitely am not saying we should all get the same prize as the first place team, but to insinuate you get some extra prize for top 42 and not come through is pretty shady considering it affects the spending habits of those around 42nd place.

We are in the same boat, though lower than 32nd. Rumor is it is from beta testing and should have been removed.

It is left over from beta testing and i dont think you will be getting your bonus
