It's not until the 28th it normally is the 26th of January but because that falls on the Saturday here they make Monday the public holiday

Your hood is spectacular. I'm an American who gets to "down under" at least every other year. Love your people and your country, but you do keep the best wine for yourselves.

Yup we've got some great reds here , I'm not far from the hunter valley here, the mrs and I like to go for a bit of tasting and bring back some straight from the vat. :-) I've been for a drive "road trip" from LA to vagas,Colorado, hot springs, Rushmore, Yellowstone, ol faithful, San Diego, Mexico,Hawaii for 5weeks, you guys have a beautiful slab o dirt too! Funny how Aussie slang becomes more prominent around the 26th of Jan. Guess we're all sucking back the disco juice, and couldn't be arsed using real words! Hehehe.
