Are factions locked during event?

I don't think factions can add new members during this event. sent invite to friend but it is not working. Anyone else can confirm?

Yep, looks like a long 4 days. Especially if you have a recruiter detached and temporarily in another faction.

Factions are locked during events so if you have a slacker you better cut him before you get stuck with a lame member who gets slaughtered in battle
