Because the game was created for iOS...it expanded to Android over the summer I believe.

It's created for iOS, but when it's developped for Android they have to update that as well.

Uninstall the game, go to play store redownload and install. This worked for me and everybody else I know. Check to see how much MB's the game is taking up. Mine was like 500mb, uninstalled and reinstalled and down to 70mb.

To be clear, you tried both force closing the app through application manager and reinstalling?

What's your device and Android version? Maybe update to the latest OS version will help...
