New Sub-Forum for Faction Recruitment! [Archive]

I had created the factions recruitment center thread to keep the front page of the general section clean. It was moved to the add me section. Thank you fore creating a subforum though.hopefully it'll help. I think most post it in general section because it adds a more personal touch with active players that communicate with each other than just codes of people you've never seen or read before.

That's a good point, and we had some internal debate about that. The problem is less with the dedicated threads and more with the mass of posts. If all of those folks were making their own thread in general instead of posting off-topic in other threads (which I really need to ask people to stop doing), there'd be not much currently but a solid wall of recruitment posts. The faction recruitment thread was a good idea and probably should have stayed here for the time being, but long-term we figured it was better to have a dedicated place.

I don't want to put a crimp in good discussion (and there's some good discussion in those threads), or dent the excitement over this awesome new feature, but we do also want to make sure everything is readable. I'm down to hear more feedback on this, though.

I think it's a good idea. Most of the established factions do recruiting privately. Our own factions, I will say have been guilty of ADs in general but they've proven to be pointless. We've had better successful " pounding pavement and making phone calls " so to speak. I think it would also be a good idea if after the battle for brazil. A sticky thread of the top 100 performing factions is posted in the the sub forum. It'll give notoriety to those that have worked hard to get there and others an aspiration to one day make it on the wall.

Is there a trick to good recruiting for factions?
We require all of our members to contribute but i don't hammer them. I realize people have lives.
Am I being too nice?
Everytime we have a faction battle only about 5 or 6 show up. we're still in the top 1000 but barely.

Mark I believe the most important criteria is activity, meaning DAILY players. If a person plays daily they're going to level up and soon be able to contribute.

I kept track of our faction scores with screenshots so that should be a good way to guage who's active for you during WD battles. We actually only had 2 people that were pretty much no shows for the event. As far as "5 or 6" for every battle; was it the same 5 or 6? We seldom had more than 10 people for any one battle but if you look at our team stats almost everyone contributed towards our wins at some point.

Nobody will get the answers they need and it's a nightmare for the developer to feedback effectively. If you want to add faction details then use the correct thread. Small faction as of now. We were in a big faction but it was dead and the 4 of us were the only
contributers. We peeled off 5 days ago and formed our own.

We are donating between 20-30 mil a day and building up bonuses. Currently we are 3/5 building bonus (15%), 3/5 infantry bonus (15%), 2/5 ground force bonus (10%) and 2/5 health regen (10%).

We were ranked #1168 in Battle of Brazil, #420 in Battle of Greenland, and #442 in Battle of Egypt. Now looking to reach the Top 250 or higher in Egypt with stronger and more active players.

We are seeking very active CHINA flag ONLY players with a minimum of 30/30+ attack/defense, IPH of 300k or higher. This will put you at over 7M/day income even without you doing any raiding or attacking. We are asking for 1M daily donation from each member.

Your level does not matter. You are not required to be a gold user although some of our members are. You must be an active and/or a daily player and a regular daily contributor of money and bricks to the faction.

But most importantly, you must be able to fight Egypt wars on a 1 or 2 hour basis or as much as possible during the main faction event. We are NOT looking for players that play just once a day or several times a day during the main Egypt event. We need hourly players during those wars.

Death Dealer1 was a faction that placed 1310th in the last faction war. Since then we have kicked 8 due to inactivity and recruited 4 new active players one of which is our new defense leader at 100k defense. During the last battle we identified some dead weight that was not contributing to the fight and removed them leaving us with some open slots. We finished in top 1000 for every battle except Egypt. We were 810 in china and 890 in Ireland. Could be better now that we've removed some dead weight. Couple gold spenders. Some decent bonuses. 14% health regen, 5% building output, 20% infantry defense, 10% ground defense, 5% air defense, 15% building defense. Working toward the next health regen bonus to get us to 18%. We have no minimum requirements, only that you donate what you can and participate in the wars and on the faction forum. Looking to merge with a top 500-1000 faction. Are u tired of having 15-20 core members carry the team, then Cut dead weight and post on this thread after every war. So are we. The only way to move up without spending hundreds of your real money is to merge factions. A real oppurtunity for a 750 or 1000 faction who wants to move up quick.

I am a daily player. Usually logging in every few hours. My faction is full of non participants so I am looking to jump ship. My stats are attack 101772 defense 98474. I have no problem donating money but I am strictly a free player. No gold. I am just looking for a better, more productive, team that I can be a part of.
