For months we have suffered with crashes and freeze ups, we still do not have rankings, we have only just been able to take part in the WD event at the end of last week, we missed out on all of the boss events for several months.....

Just heard my friend say that he just got an "anniversary veteran" soldier on iOS, with 140+ attack & defence. It's a reward for just playing the game he said but I don't see it in my infantry??? He did say it was on a flash screen, to which I have not seen yet :-/

Sorry I missed your first comment AO. Yea I heard android was worst a while back, but seeing that iOS came first, iOS should be smooth sailing. I don't get these scratch cards, factors, and world domination events as opposed to android. I feel like selling the iOS for an android... Both my mate and my father has Android, and both have these extra special units. Have you not received the roaming hunter/daylight chaser yet then AO?

I got the Roaming Hunter right as the splashscreen said, after reaching lvl 3 it showed up in my inventory and, as all other Android players.....still waiting for the chaser and veteran soldier.

The Android version has been half a year behind the iOS version, missing half the features.
Only after the boycott did GREE start caring.
If you don't have scratchers and factions maybe you should update?
You iOSers aren't missing it now, you had it months before it came to Android!
Along with bosses, crate events, not to mention the extremely ****ty performance on Android that only the latest 5-or-so patches started addressing (i.e. far from done)!

Now there's such a huge fuss when Android get's one single unit, that probably is coming to iOS soon* anyway. Where is this fuss from the iOSers when all the other inequalities were/are the other way?


*It's a casino style game - how could GREEd pass up the iOS market opportunity?? - They're only using the second grade Androiders as guinea pigs to make sure the first class iOS citizens get a problem free launch!

P.S. There were problems with the pointless casino game! Sometimes a roll didn't "register" and a dialog had to calm the player that no transaction has been made.
And, after unlocking, the other mini-games didn't work and gave a SD-card error msg.

No dude I wasn't trolling, I'm starting to get an idea how bad things had been. As for updating my account, thanks for your tip- I now have the scratch cards, world domination and factions events! A massive thanks, but how do you guys know when to update?

Sorry? Slightly confused? Are you asking how do you know when to update iPad/phone apps? Go to store, click on updates in bottom right, then click update all. Should do it regularly but a number will come up in red over the App Store tile indicating some apps need updating. I hope that's answered your question unless I'm on a parallel discussion! Lol ;)

By the way, I think it's cool the android guys get a unit. Fair play to them. They are right, us I pad players have had a smoother ride whichever way you look at it. Considering the problems across the board I think the solidarity comes in when we realise ALL players on all devices have had problems with the game. It must be a nightmare trying to sink the different software etc. this comes down to gree realy. They are struggling under heavy pressure. But, they wanted a slice of the pie and rushed in to quick with the knife. Now the pie ain't looking to pretty. It's still edible but won't win any prizes for the bitter after taste.

To get the roaming hunter, you need to download Jackpot Slots and get to level 3. Then switch back to Modern War and you'll receive the roaming hunter. This unit is stored under the GROUND section of your inventory

This unit is presumably to celebrate the first anniversary of Modern War. To receive this unit, play any time between December 20, 2012 - January 19th, 2013 Noon (PST). This unit is stored under the INFANTRY section of your inventory.

Just skip the splash screen and head straight for level 4 (Past level 3 just incase). Then give it a day after you get level 4 and if nothing happens, ticket time.

Yeah, so for anyone who has missed the last couple months, android users were like the red headed step child that wanted to be treated as an equal. I have this game on both platforms and refused to even try it on my android. Only for the last week or so has it really started to level back to the ios playing field (some thanks to CJ I believe :) ). As for the units:
The One Year Vet has been popping in randomly to players accounts since yesterday, so be on the lookout
The daylight chaser finally showed in most players inventory today, however some with no splash screen (so double check your inventory)
The Roaming Hunter has not been an instant get for most, so just be patient it should show. :)
