I can't remember if a thread has ever been created about this but:

How much Honor are people sitting on at the moment?

I am currently sitting on just under 40k of honor and hoping that one day Gree will release new honor units comparable to Dragons - maybe like the Chimera unit for 2k Honor that was once described as being in the game files.

130k odd left and I think it's a figure on the low end as I had blown 130k honor on Werewolves and Cannons.

So I reasonably expect 300-500k honor left on some players. In addition, honor can be hacked so if they do release those honor units, expect full chimera armies from some hackers...

I spent 40k on cannons during my unit buildup for BD10. I'm back to 39k in a months' time. :)

I have few honor points right now. Rather than use gold for imps or manticores as a meat shield I have been using honor points and cashing them in for cannons as I build up my dragon army. However, I can see in the near future where the cannons will become useless and then I am sure the honor points will start to accumulate.

I'm sitting on 38k. Rarely doing PvP. With LTE that have them (like this current one) it'll change that. But in the main, I'm a PvE person.

Edit: And I'm waiting till I finish upgrading water temple to 10.

At least in mw the honor(valor) units have good stats and can make it into your army. Would be nice to get even 1 unit that the honor would be useful for, or even a weapon or armor with decent stats. Something, anything

Here's an idea - 50,000HP to effect a redistribution of your skill points. Would be helpful for most players and of limited value to hackers. It may also allow GREE to track how many times players are switching their skill points ... if a particular player is switching them practically every single event, that's a potential indicator of a hacker. This would also help to deter hacking of HPs.

Hey, I've got an idea GREE, let us use them like gems! There we go, problem solved! OR at least let us cash them in for gems. Say, 5,000 honour points for 50 gems? :D sounds fair to me!

Hahaha, but the entire concept of gems is devalued by what you receive for them anyway. If their value was so high they would not give them away for free through tapjoy...

My point being, put them to use in the game. If it means you can exchange large amounts of honour for gems, then i think that is worth it considering the honour has been won through in-game battles. I'd prefer to fight, receive honour and exchange it in large volumes for gems rather than earn gems for nothing but tapping on an app. THAT my friend is where gems have been devalued... along with the events that require you to throw gems at them and hope one drops in the little hole to give you a unit worth 5 dragons.
People are slowly realizing that only a few hundred gems are worth sacrificing for a 500+ A/D stat unit at the least. Gone are the days that masses of players spend thousands for auction units. With these new events, people are realizing its not worth it... other than the glory of coming in at rank #1. The actual prize is not worth it.

The point is, honour use needs to be addressed and have a purpose. This was only a suggestion an no need to get your knickers in a knot.

10,20 at a time. It's called advertising. And, I wouldn't call that de-valuing them. Why? Because it's someone's own time outside of the game. In the real world, time is money. Think commercials. You might say they are pointless, but someone spent a ton of money on them. You are thus subjecting yourself to that. Willingly. It's not ok for someone who is level 8 to start trading in Honor for Gems. They can completely skip the premise of [the current] Honor units available and get indestructibles.

Changes the ENTIRE game.

Boom. Nail on the head. People all across the level tiers and across the world are now realizing that they, too, can win prizes. WITH real money. Gree isn't dumb. These LTQ's created a whole new strategy of generating income. Not by redemption of worthless in-game currency for valuable in-game currency, but rewarding those who are partaking in the offerings.

I think with the onset of these prizes to generate large amounts of Honor for players; something is in the works. It won't be Gem redemption.

I'm not. But, you're a smart cracker/cookie/player. I don't want to see you become part of the whiner crowd. I like seeing your wins & event prizes. :cool:

@Johnny0284 I agree mate! We're on the same page, just looking from different angles.
Whatever they do, they need to take into account that the honour aspect of this game is fundamentally broken. I'm mearly pumping out an idea...whether it be realistic or unrealistic. We need something done.
Maybe they could use it along the lines of the concrete blocks in MW for faction purposes. KA needs clans/kingdom alliances or whatever you want to call them.

I thought I was doing ok with 33k Honor Points. Looks like we are all sitting on our Honor Points waiting for something worthwhile.
