Haha. This could possible be done for free though. If you don't sleep from now until the end of the event, you can get 1530 attacks in :p. Assuming 7hrs of sleep each night and never letting your stamina bar fully replenish, you can still get in ~1100.

Wow that's quest 5 unit that's sick besides its the same unit as the grand prize, and has anyone notice that there was a weird time limit for this one there is 3 days and 3 hours left and it started 3 hours ago so a 3 day and 6 hour time limit why not make it 4 days or 3 and 12 hrs.

Units 1-5 is same as 5-10 same unit different names and stats.That's kinda of lame a very lazy way of doing it they have so many units they could of use but I'm glad they were able to come up with different names.

That's not counting loses if any but given that I currently hit PVP with 30K A/D less than me and I still lose units every 2-3 battles -high Preist, flaming cats, that's a lot of units down! Is it worth my while ... I am getting a lot of over vaulters to help pay my way but hitting them up to 20 times is a bit harsh..I know tithe aim of the game. But you only get a limited time frame,
So with 3 days I need 666 per day or 33 per hour with only 20 units stamina ? Correct? Anyone?

Just finished #5 crikey ! Maybe I should just borrow The1nONLY's or Winstrol's the Sea dude was full on 2 1/2 energy bars but worth it! 5 is my stop on this crazy ride, I think I might have peeved off some people but had to do it !
Now to recoup some units lost 4 H/priest in 1 battle and the guy had 24K less than me ? Go figure , o'well was worth it.

I checked all the maps to lvl 79...no sea terror or horror so I'm assuming they fixed up the issue where players were able to beat these event units down to score before the event even started.
Looks like we gotta play by the rules with this one. Good luck all!
I'm thinking this is a more profitable event for me than the boss event, so I'm glad I didn't spend any gems in competing it. Will focus on this LTQE instead...if I have the time that is.

It's gotten to the point now that there are too many of them, too often, and I stopped participating in them. I've become desensitized to them. There's nothing to look forward to, to anticipate if there is always something going on. If given like 5 days off, the anticipation would build for all of us again and make me MUCH more likely to want to participate. Heck if given a week off then an exciting LTQ I'm fairly certain I would make a significant gems purchase. But if they keep this up at the rate it's going, the way they are making it impossible for anyone who does not already have dragons to compete, I will not be playing this game much longer. What's the fun in a game that only those already established have a chance at? Where people starting out or working their way up can never get anywhere? It's a sure-fire way for Gree to LOSE business as people drift away from the game or never spend that first dollar because it becomes only fun for those already at the top of the food chain.

The 5th mission which is to defeat the Sea Terror is in the Dark Forest. Sea Terror is quite tough for me because my HS is not like The1 or Winslow, the monster destroyers.

Dragons will never be there for me if cannot build BD10 because every time I go above 400k gold I lose 100k because everyone stronger than me is online 24/7 playing the event. Within 1 hour of this event starting that is exactly what happened. I have been studying all the advice being given in the dragons thread and it is crystal clear from a ton of players' experience that a run cannot be made successfully during an event. Therefore, if there is never even 2-3 days down time between events any more, a BD10 run cannot be made by anyone over level 50 or whatever. And, yes, I can get some units better than dragons in these events, but every event I participate in levels me up at least twice, making it even MORE difficult to make a BD10 run.

with all sympathies to Zenobia, but this is how the game is now. We can't yearn for how it used to be. More frequent events means more money for GREE. what business wouldn't release products more frequently if they saw it made them money when they were releasing less frequently. Dragons (or the opportunity) will always be there. I'm making my run at BD10 too, which means beefing up my IPH so that if i take losses from overvault that i can replenish quicker. Also buying up temp units along the way to increase my Attack/Defense. It's a long arduous process with multiple steps to limit your losses when making a BD10 run, that's the smart way to do it. I'm Level 94 w/o dragons, but working my way there as you are. It's not impossible, just extremely difficult.

Question: I'm going to be leveling up soon and I will have 4 skill point to spend. My stamina is at 18 and hero strength is at 96. Do I invest the 4 points to get my stamina to 20 or get my HS to 98. the stamina will help me short term Which will cut down on gem refills needed or do I put it into hero strength like my long term plan was

I find the reward from this event quite good. At the 50s, i don't see many ppl with dragons. And the gold lost is capped anyways so i don't attack the same person over and over again even if they have unvaulted gold.

I did my BD run over christmas. There were 3 or 4 events during that time plus people were off work/school so had more time to be on the game. I still managed to get BD10 so don't give up hope

Been clicking all day while driving, sitting in the toilet, smoko breaks all at work.

Drives you insane in the membrain playing this event harder then the other events but I like. Keeps the challenge going...

My phone felt like it was going to blow up all day playing it hours and battery heated up so bad plus the 30+ degree heat so amateur style ^_*

i gotta agree. 5 is very profitable since it's doable without any Gems... going for 10 may not fit my payback model vs alternative LTQ's. (unless you have the gems to spend anyways)

For me, I would always, always put skill into HS. Payback in PVE is better in my humble opinion. I have only 14 stam and wish I had less @ L79 109A/88D.

Because i didn't get the splash screen until now i am quite behind in the quest, but luckily there isn't much of a point to continue past the 5th quest (which looks quite easy to obtain even without any gems).

If these 1K+ refs are true, this event is pretty ridiculous. Obviously, everyone is attacking the weakest players in an effort to save their units and lower xp increments (yeah, kinda feel sorry for the little guys who pretty much are the punching bags in this event). But, even with XP increments averaging +8xp per battle, you still get to level-up twice only to complete a single quest of 250 victories.

Anyway, would appreciate a confirmation on the LTQs 5-10 as well.

I think your math answered my question and will put my 4 pts into hero strength. I'm not spending 1200 gems so I think I go as far as free with get me which definately will be past 5. If I am lucky enough to get to 7 or 8 for free then i might drop a small amount of gems to finish off but probably will save gems and purchase for another time as im a light spender

We ALL still play the game when it's between events. And frankly, even the impossibility of making a BD run during an event aside, the events become boring if they are CONSTANTLY going. It's gotten to the point now that there are too many of them, too often, and I stopped participating in them. I've become desensitized to them. There's nothing to look forward to, to anticipate if there is always something going on. If given like 5 days off, the anticipation would build for all of us again and make me MUCH more likely to want to participate. Heck if given a week off then an exciting LTQ I'm fairly certain I would make a significant gems purchase. But if they keep this up at the rate it's going, the way they are making it impossible for anyone who does not already have dragons to compete, I will not be playing this game much longer. What's the fun in a game that only those already established have a chance at? Where people starting out or working their way up can never get anywhere? It's a sure-fire way for Gree to LOSE business as people drift away from the game or never spend that first dollar because it becomes only fun for those already at the top of the food chain.

I did mine in the middle of all these events. I wanted to do it when I turned 50 but then event hell broke loose and I ended up leveling to 60. My BD10 just finished yesterday morning. It was hard when you get hit for 396K by one player. Set me back two weeks at least of time. I found their Id on their wall and allied them. I had to end up selling Manors to pay for it but at least it is done and I bought my first dragon. Now I have to buy back and upgrade to start getting the income flowing. Keep your chin up. You may have to camp for a while to build up your defense and equipment before you make another run.

The max stamina a refills buys is 50, but seeing as there aren't too many PvP quests I'd only go for 20, 25 max.

I don't really understand why they made this event 2 tiers, the first 5 quest you only need to do 425 pvp and one pve monster. Then quest 6-9 you have to do 1700 pvp, which is crazy for such a little increase in the pervious units stats. Just going to stick with the first 5 quest like most people.

You're missing the point. The gem spenders will get another unit over the free players to replace one of their dragons. A unit with very nice stats.

I think GREE want to put those rewards for different level tiers. said, above level 80 get higher stats units, below level 80 players get lower stats units.
They plan to make the event to 1 or 2 days short event.
However, something happened, the original plan cannot fill the time gap between two bigger events (Friday event).
So they merged two tier rewards together and made it to a 3-4 day events to fill the gap between two Friday events.

Yep I am done also got to level 6 only cause some one was over vault by 150k so had to elevate 100k from them for safe keeping. So no more Honour point for me I picked up an extra 12K worth on this event ... Need a change bring on the next one ! Might go for BD9 whilst I wait starting tomorrow of course.

Haha. This could possible be done for free though. If you don't sleep from now until the end of the event, you can get 1530 attacks in :p. Assuming 7hrs of sleep each night and never letting your stamina bar fully replenish, you can still get in ~1100.

No, killing the boss again won't give you another sea terror. It is common for boss creatures to reappear after they have been defeated.

I'm at 5/10 now, it took me 1 full lifebar to take half sea horror life...it hits me every time for 25 energy so need 100 every hit...
I think i will stop after lvl 5, hard to do more pvp assault in time for lvl 6 :(

I will do it because
1 - PVP is fun
2 - at level 168, the XP gained from 400 more attacks will seem like a drop of water into the ocean
3 - the prize will permanently replace one of my dragons or another lower stat unit

Surprisingly not a lot. Around 250 I would guess. I have been through a few levels and timed them so that i could make best use of the refills. So for the price and half of a priest of the sand, some better units for some judicious use of gems.

I was a bit lucky. Must have received the splash screen right on its release. And have lost a little sleep using the refills as they appeared. Have to say I have watched this event much closer than normal to make use of every point. Saving my gems for a, hopefully, rewarding auction event.

I'm missing a really fun event looks like. Rotten flu. Well, not entirely. First day someone blind hit me and I took him for 2500 gold. Yum. But I was in a drugged stupor all day and didn't touch my games and someone (ahem) playing with his shiny new dragons (ahem) sacked a couple of my juicier buildings. I was just relieved it was someone I could have a laugh with and not a future farmer. Cause I'm making my own list, ya know.

I'm on the final boss right now and it's ridiculously hard. I've used four energy bars with hits between 150-180 and it has lost only half of its life. Each hit is 150 + 50 damage when it attacks.

You should have closed and reopened it a few times. When I do that I sometimes magically get a full energy bar. Then a few times later a half full one or another full one! Never happens when Im watching.

I lost about 8k-10k by the time I finished quest 10. Every battle added to my casualties over the course of the event. I even targeted people with 60-70k less points than me.

Update from yesterday... On Sea Terror now. Good Grief! My Weapon is a Cursed Glaive +48A and Armor is Relic Plate +33A with Hero Strength at 151 and I'm only doing 120-160 damage!!! Running out of time and energy :mad:

@KH You are almost there, don't give up. it is probably worth it to throw in a few gems, btw 10gems=1000energy so make sure you could hold this amount before you spend the gems, it helps too if you are about to level up.Good luck

Use energy reset with your gems then probably inside 1 hr is the best time to do it...

Okay, seeing that I was going to have to attack the terror at least 6-8 more times at 75 + 25 damage and I was out, AND 3 energy per minute / 800 * 60 = 4.5 hours.... So there goes another $9.99 :p But I got'em. Now I have to go attack Tyson's Kingdom for attacking me. C-Ya :cool:

Obviously, with a PvE event of all things, instead of being able to amass 1.7m in peace, I now can't even go 10k over vault unless I want it stolen. This quest reminds me of how annoying it is that we get scouts and such as pvp rewards. I mean seriously, a 0/5 unit????? At some stage it would be nice if there were some useful units thrown in.HERE-HERE! It gets soooo annoying! Because there are fewer people in the the upper brackets they can see up and down farther than you, whereas at your level there are probably enough people to only see up and down a level. I dont think you can see a lvl 70-80? are you saying you can as that would be a glitch

Few weeks? It's been around for months and months. It's often referred to as "Whale Territory" and it's where the big fish can see and attack you, even if the reverse isn't true. It's not really a glitch - it's a design choice by the developers to make sure there are a variety of targets for high level players. With the limited number of people reaching the upper levels, you would just see a handful of other players at your level to attack, rather than the dozens and dozens we see at lower levels. This precipice is mobile, actually, and started out much much lower, but gradually moves as more and more people level up.
