Beginning of the Beginning: Vault!

This morning I started one if the last few upgrades on my vault! I won't say EXACTLY where I am, but I am mere days from max!!!!

I consider this step one to running with the big dogs. Lol. I've upgraded my income enough that until the last upgrade finished on one of my unit buildings, cash prizes and windfalls were actually a headache. Now I just buy High Priests. Heh. But I can save if I want to now!

Aren't I cute and naive? Yeah, dragon time isn't even on the radar. Still a novice wannabe here. I don't even have wyverns. I hear they are tasty with bleu cheese and buffalo sauce. I need to try that.

Ha! I was a little slow to upgrade the vault as well, but was never overvault. my second to last vault upgrade just finished this morning, but i'm holding off on the last upgrade cause i'm using the money to upgrade my Attack/Defense for this Boss+LTQ event. You don't have to feel bad for where you're at. Some of us are in the same boat. :D

Hey, another first for me. I've discovered the joy of looting manors. I caught a couple uncollected just now. Only level one and 10,000 gold each?!?

Seriously, I will not be building these big giant bull's eyes for a long, long time. That was a lot of easy money for minimal XP and just one casualty (another rotten seige tower, darn it. They are SO fired.) One of them was sitting right next to a whole battalion of defense structures). I'd rather just send out invitations and hand out chunks out my income on a daily basis, on a regular schedule, thanks. Then I wouldn't feel surprised.

Meanwhile, the next several gold hits on the dwarvish dude are financed. Um, sorry if it was anyone on the forum!

How come I hit level 60 and suddenly there be manors all over the place? I know I had access to them at 59 and below.

People need to stop apologizing for raiding. It's part of the game. You're not offending anyone by engaging in this behavior.

I'm a rogue for a reason. I'm Scottish and raiding runs deep in the genes. ;) But so does being polite. I will politely relieve you of your excess and apparently bothersome wealth. But to be sneaky isn't my style. I give you the opportunity to make friends, or coom and tak' awa' back. Or try - heh.

I'm a true rogue though. I might break out and raze ten buildings in a row though I said I was camping just yesterday. I'd hate a forum regular to come back to sacked manors and go, "What the h-?"

I feel the same, it's part of game strategy - I'd laugh and say, "Caught out!" if it were me. Some seem to have a more literal sense of justice. Hey ho...

I am very sorry if my apologizing bothers you. Bahahaha! I do appreciate the verbal pat on the back.

i`ll raid anyone i find :D if the person i raid ask me nice to stop and ally i will . if not i will continue raiding . in he end it`s a war game :) who`s not my friend is my enemy

You are at level 60 and you have no Manors?!? Big mistake, Metajetta.

To prevent the looting, all you have to do is : collect on time. Every other day.
Build them now!

Like ezinap said, just collect them on time. Set your notifications on in game, easy peasy.
Even if they get raided you still get 40% on collection- that's 6000 gold.

I made it a priority to upgrade my vault constantly. I may have capped my vault within a few hours of the minimum required time not using gems.

only just built my first manor and im lvl 96 :)

but then again, i got to 80 until i realized my opponents with the same number of allies had 3x my atk and defence :)

I get most of my income from raiding, and have over 10k raids now. Of course my favorite is finding someone way over vault max. I will stop raiding/attacking someone and ally if asked - otherwise I'll raid as much as I can - gotta fund all those dragons somehow ;)

As an FYI, over level 100 I assume everyone is at max vault and don't attack unless so done is over that amount. So if someone has not maxed out their vault limit yet they get a free pass as I don't want to waste a hit to confirm.
