New Boss Event + LTQ Event Gokstad

good luck :) i was wondering if u got gems if GREE makes it harder for you to get the unit in order to make you spend those gemsThis is exactly how I've been feeling! It's like once I break down & get the gems, I have terrible luck & feel like I need to buy more otherwise all those first gems were for nothing! I'm level 111, A/D 202k/152k, so it's getting VERY costly! Grr

I don't usually post but I had to show off my sexy Mighty Gokstad. I got him on level 20 kill for a sweet 3 in one reward. Totally lucked out but it's only fair after taking frost miser to level 30 and being stuck on 8 deers(stupid rudolf)I tried to upload nice jpeg says invalid file so this was the best i could do pretty weak..... Awesome, Bungus! (Sigh) Maybe if I try just one more time... (I know... I'm a sucker!)

Thanks, decided to round off the bosses to 35. Ended up using 45 free gems from videos (2 refills and an accidental mega attack). FINALLY got the bodyguard and the Mighty Gokstad.Can finally stop killing bosses... Glad that's over.Ended up with:16 commons11 uncommons8 raresWow! Happy you finally got it - congrats! I still need that d*%n bodyguard. I guess I will buy more gems. :-/I wish they were on sale! Wish me luck!

. Do you mind sharing your stats? I'm exactly where you are: boss 24 & need the d*mn bodyguard, but I'm have been spending gems... Hits seem to cause less damage with each new boss, despite increased #s(?)! Hope you get/got it!

It's pretty tough above Level 100 to get the bonus unit unless you are very lucky or you are a heavy gem user.

Yeah I wouldn't go for it since you need a minimum of 3 more bosses and that's if you are extremely lucky. Still the 30th reward is pretty decent.Ok... This makes me want to keep pushing on! Wish me luck! ;P

Congrats Trinity. Lucky you got him before you had to go to 35 like me. I am level 26, although I started the event at 23 so I still had the lower tier bosses. Won't be able to go for 30 bosses anymore for awhile now I'm in the new tier.

Tapped out after boss 25...I have 5 rares (3 pets and 2 bodyguards) and only 3 uncommon (3 sparring partners that is)...So I am still missing the fury and the enforcer and the toy...happy with the 20 unit and the 5 rares. Now time to give the LTQ a try!

Already throwing in the towel eh? Did you make it to 25 for free? If so, the #30 prize is a good value for the 90-100 gems it'd take to get there, plus the shot at Gokstad.

Wish the devs would make a PvP animation for Gokstad. I still have these Ogre Brawlers in my animation even though I have at least 15 units stronger than them.

Ya it was free and I could get ther with 60-80 gems but I am afraid I will get two if the three units I need and then keep going until 37 and not get it like last time. I would be very disappointed. EDIT: 650 Dragons and counting. Need about 260 more to be at max capacity taking into account all units better than dragons! Maybe I will get them by next week?

Just picked up gokstad on my lvl 20 camper acct at the 20th boss. Got the fury, the lvl 20 reward and gokstad all at once. Nice boost in attack defense in one shot. Not going for 30 though

Ahh you should go for Gokstad's teddy bear. It's only an extra 750xp for the remaining bosses plus very little gems spent. You're going to need about a 170k dmg score on the boss to kill #30 w/ 13 cash hits, don't think 260 Dragons will bump you up that far.

I am doing 113k damage or so now 260 dragons will add ~ 16k? Maybe 30 is a little on the wishful thinking side. Need to farm more amor! But another 40 LTQ would be awe3some

Nice, if you can get to around 135 - 140k cash damage that should easily take you to #28 for free. Think I was doing 129k dmg this event and capped out at #27.

At level 76-100, Boss 38 is 7800 gold a hit.

I'm just about to hit that bracket. Would rather put that money into dragons and upgrades now.
Might as well just say WTF, bugger camping/crawling, and do the LTQ from now on.


BTW, my Spirit of Nature laughs at your Keg Shooter ... LOL :-)

I have 15 Spirits of Nature and none will get me beer, the lazy sods. My Keg Shooter is my new best friend. ;)

This was a good one for me. I got Mighty Gokstad at level 23. I went to boss 30 to get both bonus prizes. My stats got a nice increase.

Last reindeer event went from boss 20 to 39 missing one rare and didn't get it.

Congrats Funkey....wish they would modify the upper bands. I have decent attack at lvl 105 and can only get to level 11 without gems. Don't mind using gems but It would be rediculous for me to use it for 1 unit.
