Eh maybe. It was two quests killing monsters, then 3rd quest was kill 25 cottages ( easy to do) 3 hits on a cottage is 3 off your total. 4th challenge is kill 3 monsters ( takes 92 per hit). I would go for it. Even if you spend 10 dollars that is 5 energy resets. Watch your level ups ( free energy refill) or if you are really low energy numbers pay attention and hit the monster right when you get the required amount for one hit, so hit 92 energy, hit the monster, that way when they hit you back you aren't wasting any energy. Great quest. A unit like that would cost a vault plus (100 real dollars) but you could get it free or cheap 10 bucks for energy refills.

Soooo...I'm not a patient person after reading the stats on the final boss from Marebear. Used a total of 110 Gems and finished in ~1 hr. Considering I picked up 100 of those Gems from yesterday's 'Add Me Tuesday' ...I'd like to say this was a total win in my book.

If you have the Rose Plate armor, that's probably your culprit. See the "Game crashes when viewing equipment list" thread. I've had the same problem since the Set's Challenge quest.

Cheers mate. Figured it out. I just wanted to get some free hits on it before I levelled up and while I was still on quest 6. Only 2 hits to go on her now. Another good quick event that has only required some of the add me Tuesday gems! Probably the best event to come up for the use of the Tuesday gems. :D Now off I go...hopefully no good events pop up while I'm away.

no every hit counts as 1 so 25 hits required not totally sacked unless your ruthless like me then burn them all !

No, 1 attack = 1 kill on the cottages, so each cottage you sack counts as 3 on the quest list

Go the manors and over vaults it's only an hour till full energy , you will still have time..I did took almost 75k from 1 ( sorry if forum member) and a couple of Manors.. Don't know why they don't collect ? Obviously don't want their gold as much as we do ....Mwahahahaha

Complete 7/7 and got the Dawn Herald with 1869 A and 1140 D. Pretty big hitter. Learned You don't have to destroy 25 cottages, just one hit each to save stamina. The last task Mistress (whatever) takes a lot of hits, but not the hardest Boss. Easier Quest than the Priestess of Set but harder on my neighbors. Let a lot of apologies for hitting 40 rivals on the list! Lol

According to their post that 187 was just 1 hit until the energy bar refilled. They estimated it would take 7 hits to kill so the boss life would be somewhere between 1300 and 1500 life.

I suggest to make a little "sacrifice" and put your alarm to when your energy would be full and just use it for the other task, then go back to sleep, in the morning you will have another full bar (not sure your level or energy max), then you can quickly do #6, #6 should take you less than 2 hours if you are active) and probably will need some gems for energy refills to finish #7 before tomorrow noon

Is that 91 Hero Strength total, or 91 Hero Strength before adding in your boost from your weapon and armor? I have 111 Hero Strength but get a boost of 87 from my weapon and armor for a total 198 Hero Strength.

I had the same dilemma. I went for the manors, though, because on a level one manor I get 3,150 for the first two hits and 6,300 on the third for a total of 12,600 out of the total 15,000.


Go the manors and over vaults it's only an hour till full energy , you will still have time..I did took almost 75k from 1 ( sorry if forum member) and a couple of Manors.. Don't know why they don't collect ? Obviously don't want their gold as much as we do ....Mwahahahaha

Nice little contained quest, different maps, no barracks' attacks so no losses. Easily done without gems,

14 hrs, no gems, one lost dragon (got lazy looking for someone to attack) and 18 holes of golf on a gorgeous summer day. Now I have a nice shiny new unit that looks eerily similar to my Holy Guardian (they even hold their sword in the same phallic manner). At least I can tell them apart in a fight.

Just finished, great unit! Loving the LTQs GREE's been running lately. The recent LTQs have added approx 15-20k to my A/D alone. Hope we can look forward to similar LTQs in the future. I definitely prefer LTQs to Boss and Box Events since with LTQs even Free players can benefit greatly.

Thats what I did so the answer is yes you can grind the mistress down while completing 6

Your grunts just mean you don't have to kid yourself and some other sap, that you're "friends". Declare war and spice up your game a little. ;)

I am almost done here with the quest
here is my personal experience and data collected
I hope it helps those whom still want to try
please note I am level 167 with 210 hero points, 36 stamina and about 1,800 energy
picture shows tasks, energy needed per hit, xp gain per hit, total hit done, monsters HP, total energy used to complete task, prizes
waiting to refill to kill last one which will probably take about 7 hits based on 1 hit of 187 damage

Spectra you are the best. I decided to do this after all based on this chart. I may just miss but I do still have six energy refills - five from the Add Me and one left over from the last LTQ. I only foresee needing it on the Mistress though. I average about 140 per hit with 670 energy. And I've only the last three to go now.

I did not realize I had "come up in the world" so much since the last time I really opened my fight list. LOL! I'll have four skill point to spend when I level up (the next quest will do it sure), and I'll put them in stamina. Bringing me up to seven whole stamina. Wow, watch out world. Lol. Not.

Done, without Gems. Hero Strength was 89 throughout the quest and I leveled up on the finishing hit of 7/7. That was easy. Nice prize considering the level of difficulty.

<scrambles to see whether Metajetta is allies with Jonny0284> Just kidding. Hmm. Different strokes and all that. ;) Though I do need to weed out my list - there are abandoned bases on it, I know. Then start doing the forum preference thing. I'm like 45 or something from 500 now, I think.

I had plenty of targets on my fight list. I go for people with misogynist and vulgar base names preferentially. And dead bases. The former I hit even if I risk sustaining losses. I need some way to test my defenses and when kids like that come back after me, I can judge my weak points easily. And usually have a giggle or two when they forget to vault or collect before having their revenge, and losing a few hundred to my defense.

On quests like this I might hit someone really weak, but who has collected everything, multiple times, then leave a cut/paste note of apology and explanation and an alliance invite. I just did that to finish off the cottages. I razed two cottages at the same place then left a note of thanks and an invite. You never know when someone like that is camping and I have a really memorable base name!

Great LTQ

Better than Maddox one - I killed last disciple 10 times or so and didn't get drop so missed out on armour
There seems to be a trend with the random result quests that as it goes along the chance goes down a lot, certainly get better results in box in first few hours

I did it for free too, just finished the quest. Investing in that Hero Strenght seems to pay off (139 pts., level 100), last one took 6 or 7 hits, should be more aware next time.

Congrats all! Real life struck again here and I guess it's over - though I thought it was 3:00 PST. Prob read it wrong. :) It did remind me to put a couple skill points into stamina when I leveled up (thanks to the Undead Drunk Monks).

Whew. Guess we made it to dawn after all. My advisors seemed VERY pessimistic, especially the pointy eared lady. Thanks to all you heroes. Where is it actually dawn, by the way?

In terms of increasing your A/D, first I must ask what level you are. If you're below or around lvl 50, start planning for your Breeding Den lvl 9 and 10 upgrades (so you can get dragons). Build up High Priests to max your Defense so that while you're overvault your Defense will be high enough to deter most rivals.

Also I'd recommend participating in events (Limited Time Quests like this one, Box events and Boss events). The units you get from those are indestructible and can help pad your A/D depending on your level and Army units.

At lower levels the LTQs can be difficult to complete due to having low Hero Strength. I'd recommend putting your points from leveling to HS. Each time you level you get 3 points, so put 2 towards HS and wait to use the last point until you level up again. This will give you 4 points on the next level up, which equals 2 HS points (they cost 2 each).

The better your Hero Strength the easier the LTQs will be. Also, if you're lower level, the Boss events are good to try, since it can be easy to complete rounds as opposed to higher level players.

Also, check out the boards here often for strategies and tips, they're very helpful.

I can't idle myself. I don't want to get filled up with gunk. Instead, I get up every hour and go raid someone.
