Game crashes when viewing equipment list

During the Set event I got Rose Plate Armor. Whenever I go anywhere where I can see my armor the game crashes when it gets to the Rose Armor (I see the loading icon instead of the artwork for a split second and them *crash*). This means in my equipment list or even after a pvp battle in the results list. This also happens if a rival has the Rose Armor and I try to browse their equipment.

I have complete uninstalled the app and then reinstalled it and it still crashes whenever the Rose Armor is viewed.

I have a 1st Gen iPad with iOS 5.1.1

The gen1's have had a few issues with memory lately.

Something to try.
1. if you have any pending requests then close them out either by accepting or rejecting
2. delete the game.
3. do a two button reset of your iPad.
4. Reload the app.

This action made both KA and MW much smoother and stable. I am currently going back and "clearing house" of the quest monsters that are still hanging around.

I don't know how it's a memory issue because it's solely that one specific armor that causes the crash.

If it is a memory issue, then there's a memory leak involving that armor and that's a coding issue. I'm doing a hard reset now, will let you know if it works.

I have similar issue , but my game start lagging when I'm trying to look at armors

After the hard reset and reinstalling the app I still have the problem with the Rose Plate Armor. All other armor has the spinny icon for a second then loads the graphic. The Rose Plate is the ONLY armor that the graphic doesn't load and then the app crashes.

It's only that armor. None of the weapons or loot does it. All of those icons load just fine.

I have the same issue as Winstrol where it doesnt crash but severly lags when viewing equipment

I don't have that issue but have a somewhat similar one - a lot of the armors available to dress my avatar in don't work. I click the armor (rogue), and it thinks, and thinks, and thinks some more... and never puts it on my avatar. There are more than half a dozen of my supposed armor choices that do this (on an ipad2). It's not a big deal - not like Rawrimabear's issue, but it's similar.

Did a check and am having a similar problem now. Scrolls across 19 columns of items and then halts, crashes.

Ran it up a couple of times and got once where it put me in on the right hand side of the armor inventory. Scrolled to the left and it scrolled more than 19 columns but did crash out, presumably when it got around the same item/inventory location from the "other side".

This is exactly what happens to me. Try this, uninstall the app and reinstall it. If you do that and scroll over to where you see Rose Plate Armor (count how many columns over), it will have the spinny loading icon for a few seconds before the crash. Then, load the game back up and this time it crashes before the armor even appears once you scroll over the same number of columns.

I just went and looked again, no other image is anywhere near this big. I think the problem is that the original art was pushed out rather than the resized image. I was able to temporarily resolve this issue by denying read permissions to the image file. Now I just get a spiny icon again for the Rose Plate and as long as I don't stop at it for more than 5 or 6 seconds the game doesn't crash.

Still an easy fix for the devs that wouldn't even require an update to the app.
