I keep checking the servers but i cannot find it. That is not to say its not there, but they could be hiding it from us now they know we look for it.

ask them if they are having problems sorting the popups folder by date. everytime i do so the most recent items are always the Dec 14 ones.

There is a splash screen, but it has not been activated. Many things in the game files are not used. IMO, the in-game checklist accessed through the globe does not have a spot for it, like the first tournament did. Also, there is no announcement in the announcements thread, which has mysteriously been cleared of the other threads that existed there just one day ago.

There was a slash screen that never got activated for the last faction PvP tournament ~3 weeks ago. But that contest occurred nevertheless. The only way anyone knew it was going on was when CJ posted it in the Annoucements section > 1/2 day after it had started (despite the fact that every other post/thread he's made regarding faction play has been in the General section here). You can't go look at that, though. As Fl@sh pointed out, that thread - along with 2 others - were deleted earlier today.

Yes, I know :). Simply pointing out that, given past history, we unfortunately can't go by splash screen alone for evidence that an event is running or not. If one was occurring this weekend, CJ or somebody would've posted about it by now.
