Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't health only used for people attacking you? To me, the 10th item unit is a bad one. It has decent att and def but will cause your health to recover faster so you might get attacked a little more often. If you want to be attacked more, this unit could be useful but I'll assume it will be bad for people who doesn't like to be attacked and have their money stolen.

I am on six with 2 $7,500 drops but still have 24 boxes to open , you would have a truck load of boxes as you haven't finished the LTQ and 16 cultist down should give you boxes for each drop ? Plenty of time ..patience is the key if you can't find it just wait ! And please you only have to say "Sorry" once to me not 5 times we all understand ! LoL

According to the FAQ in the game you need to be at least level 10 to compete in special events but in saying that the previous LTQ that just finished required that players be about level 20 to participate. Based on that I keep an eye out for the splash screen and if I can not get it then I assume that I am too low to participate (currently level 14 myself).

No I didn't there's no point to rush , there' still 3 days left and I only need 1 more , it seem that they have changed drop rate on boxes events , last box event and that one are so easy compared to two event which we had at the beginning of game , I couldnt even manage to get 7th back in day lol .

Not sure why anyone is having problems getting boxes or opening them. Collected over 200 yesterday and the four winning shields came with the first 13-14 boxes. I keep getting more boxes, but only Honors and Gold after you win the 10th. What to do with 191 boxes in the time limit? They should have; and could have continued the sequencing after 10, because they give out boxes on almost every kill....if you follow a few Quest sequences in the regions.

I think many people are getting much less boxes due to the Maddox armor quest. In terms of the Maddox armor quest, many players are probably on the last half of that quest. The Cultists (especially on the last two portions of the quest), have extremely high energy. So whereas on later maps most enemies (though costing more in terms of energy per hit), only require two or three hits for any non-boss enemies. Therefore with a full energy bar, you could kill approx 4-10 units (depending on your HS) from a full energy bar. Therefore, you get at least several box drops per energy bar (the event boxes drop at least 75% of the time for me). The Cultists on the last couple Maddox quest portions can require almost a full energy bar (or more for low HS players). So you may get 1 or 2 event box drops vs 4-10 or whatever from regular questing.

Yes, I usually end up with zillions of boxes too since I do a lot of farming. But i've never won. In fact, I never get more than the first level prize. This event has been kind even though I've been a bit slack. I'm at six now so I've beaten my previous record and I'm one away from yet another prize. I'll pay more attention now! I'd love that sword dancer. I'm still low enough level she'd make quite a difference.

Yes, they definitely are. I have gotten, and lost, elven boxes PvP.

After 24 hours with no luck I got my 7th box open today. Also got 20,000 gold which was nice.

Who have 10 parts with cash opens only? It seems like this event is more difficult than the past ones,

Got #10 tonight. Using only the gold option. Took maybe 40 tries - i'm not that dedicated to this type of event and only used free opens on the last 5-6 box events. Only the last unit is worthwhile, but I figured I had a shot and it paid off. Still have about 60 left to try prying open with a rusty knife now. Got a 20k and a few 7.5k gold ones in the process.

I'm gold hitting them (prob my mistake, should switch to free a couple times) almost every hour except overnight, and I even hit it twice last night when I got up to feed the sick baby critter. I've been stuck on seven for twenty four hours now. Oh well. At least they are sort of nice looking. I get skeeved when it's a slime sucker or a rotting corpse construct or something. I know it doesn't matter but you know, it's me has to look at them when I open my units inventory, lol! Sure wish I could get the dancing lady, though. <3

Yah Boy! I just got my beautiful "Master Blade Dancer!" I decided to a gem resets in the last 3 hrs of the event. I have 5 Elven Rune boxes on hand & the first 4 resets was all gold until the 5th one was a shield. Gree's total damage from me was only 200 gems with the 100 gems add me tuesday give away. Congrats to me..Lol! I got it too Ratma & Good Luck to everyone who's still going for it..!

Okay I am getting pissed off with this box event! I have had 8 shield since there was 3+ days left in the event, and then with 1+ days left I got my 9th shield. Now I choose to use some gems and all I am getting is Hero Points and Gold. Now, I only have one attempt left and I need a shield and I doubt i will get it. Something smells fishy.

Finished at 7 myself, too. Seriously 72 hours of no shield is bunk. Nothing but 1k, 7.5k, 15k, 20k gold and probably 4k total of Hero points.

Can't tell you if they changed it....it used to work but i'm not so sure now. Unless someone can confirm quickly id probably go a couple rounds of OT and if after 5 tries you strike out i'd bail. but thats just me. I got stuck on 8 so it wasn't even worth wasting my time with OT

Same as the above, had 8 shields with 3 days left. Must have opended 45-55 boxes, but didnt get the last 10th. All with gold. Just isnt realistic, and certainly not fun. Im only happy i didnt waste tons of gems on this.

Dear GREE, if the point is to make people spend lots of real money on gems, i can tell you it had opposite effect on me. Seems pointless anyway.

My energy is low so I wouldn't get anywhere starting the new LTQ now. I'll hang out in OT until that recharges, then move on. Over 4 days trying to get the 10th shield and still no luck...crazy!

Glad I didn't use my add me Tuesdays gems for this crap. I knew I'd end up on 8 or something for three days. Experience was the key to avoiding wasting gems on trying to get to 10. It was never going to work. Once again this proves that box events are a thing of the past unless you go all out gems on the first 2 days.

I could be wrong Ragnarr, having never bothered to do OT for box events, but my understanding was Gree nerfed the awarding of prizes after an event ended ages go. Remember that happened in one of the box events last year.

Anyway, congrats to everyone who got the 10th shield!

OT surelly works. I was pretty lucky to get mine 10-th shield in OT. Was stuck on the 8-th for 2 days and on the 9-th for 1.5 days... Tried 12 - 14 times per day, still no luck. Used 60 gems near the end of the event - still was nothing but useless honor...
So, decided to go for OT, as had nothing to waste anyway. And was lucky to get the 10-th shield after third try. The unit is in my inventory.
So, OT is definitely works. The only problem - I missed part of the current LTQuest... Hope I will get in time anyway...
