Open up Crime City and once it loads, open the menu (Looks like a clipboard). Then, click the utton called MORE.... After that, click the one called About. Check if it says Updating... at the bottom. If it does, wait 10 or so minutes. If it doesn't, post your dataset and build here.

It's unlikely that you have one but check anyway. If the above method didn't yield the expected results, open up your market app. Navigate to where your non-updated apps are displayed and double check that Crime City is fully updated.

Holy f, it's like they "mistakenly" selected a collect-10 event declining drop rate. Been like that for the last three or four leaderboard events.

I'm stuck at 9. I'm also stuck at 9 in the KA event, but that's a collect 10 and I got to 9 almost a day before reaching that point in CC.

Not gonna lie... I don't even bother opening more than 3-4 boxes a day on these events anymore. Even getting the 15 item prize requires some pretty good luck when I work to open 12+ boxes a day, and it just isn't worth the effort.

I also don't think I've used any stamina since the christmas PVP event.

how about doing some maths .. lets say, the successful open rate is 20% (which i think is waaaay too high, it must be low) ... so for getting 20 crowns, you have to open 100 royal boxes. divide that by 5 ... 20 opens in a day .. that's bloody 20 hours of work hhehe ...

The only bad thing about camping that low is that there aren't a lot of good buildings or cash equipment available. But you can get your expansions done and increase your vault size. It is so easy to level up on MW. You don't have to do much. Random attacks alone will cause you to level.

I've been stuck at six crowns for almost two days now, but I have been getting all kinds of other things (Racer X's, Deviant Coats, et al.) so Free Stuff is Free Stuff right?

My theory is that they got so much negative feedback in previous events from players who, like me, only did the in-game cash opens and got so close so early that it seemed inevitable that we would get the "Good Prize", and were incensed by a measly "EU Security Baton" when ".....only one more Box!!!!" meant the difference between euphoria and ultimate despair, especially if opened with Gold right at the deadline.

So I think they'll start giving more Crowns toward the end, but I've been wrong many, many, times before....

I remember the days of opening like 15+ a day getting to 20-25 and debating about a run of tapjoy gold to get to the top 250 or 500. I don't even play these anymore and they used to be fun as you felt rewarded for opening alot of boxes. The last two times I played I opened 16 crates a day for 5 days and only got to the 10th item. That's not bad luck, the parameters of the game were changed.

Not that my opinion matters, but I'd suggest severely increasing the rate that an open box gives you an event item... Maybe even 100%. Just reward people who put in the effort of opening every hour or spend gold.

It costs Gree a lot of money to make those high valued items. They can't just hand them out and stay competitive in this global economy. Low level racer bikes and straight jackets are cheaper to manufacture.

Thanks, but easy to do when dumping gold. Was my last hoorah for gold as I won't be buying any more to support this game. Didn't see the need to go for #1. I usually finish somewhere around the middle of the pack. Think I finished in the top 15. Haven't checked yet. I normally play the first and the last day as when that's the easiest to get the drops of whatever you need.

Way too many things broken that they just won't fix so no more gold purchase from me. Time to just upgrade my IPH now. :)

I got massively ripped off and I am never buying gold again. this was the final straw. If the "Fair chance" opening option really is a 50/50 chance, I wouldnt have failed all 11 times in a row. I hate Gree with a passion. Hundreds of dollars invested into gold just in the past two months, all of it wasted.

Sorry to hear that, but yeah that's one thing I've been noticing about GREEd games. Even if folks are getting the opens; chances of getting the main "event item" drop to single digit percentages which to me is an absolute joke.

It's worse in MW, not only do I get useless Items, I'll actually get "extra allies" Considering I have 1000+ allies in MW - it really is pathetic.

At least I can use some of the other items 1/3 of the time but still really frustrating when event items chances drops to next to 0

It's just the thing that really gets to me is the fact that many of us, many people like myself, spend a good deal of money on gold. I am personally averaging nearly $100 per paycheck, which is $200 a month, or $2400 a year. And people like me, who support the game of Crime City, and massively donate Income to Gree to keep the game improving and growing are the people who seem to have worse "luck" compared to people have never bought a bag of gold. I encounterd two rivals today who had not a single gold building besides a basketball court that most people buy with the 10 gold you start with. These two rivals had their three slots of equipment on the "Fight results" screen occupied with items that you can only expect to get once or twice in your crime city life-time. Three event items and Scratcher items with attack scores of over 300. Now I know its a game and part of the game is sometimes losing, or being unlucky. But what is the point of spending all of this money on gold to improve myself against enemy rivals, when the rivals who don't spend a dime seem to have so much luck, that I would basically have to spend thousands of dollars on gold-bought items to match up to them and stand a chance? It makes no sense, it is pointless to continue buying gold until some sort of change takes place.

I can just spend $5 and play Runescape for a month with no restrictions, and an equal and fair playing field. $5 in crime city doesn't last you 5 minutes. I will not give another dollar to Gree if this is how my "luck" is going to be.
