Yes, but they are not scaled to the larger screen. You don't even notice it after a bit.

On the sides, yes. Not on the top or bottom though. It's very minimal though.

It is iPhone 5 compatible but like the others said, you still have black lines on the side and from time to time, the game lags but I am also not sure if this is the case for other iOS devices. My game lags a lot but I don't mind it. Got used to it.

Mine doesn't lag at all. It's super fast compared to the old IOS devises. Maybe you should send a ticket.
