How do you fight this guy when I try to do an assigned flight it takes me to the crossroads and no indication who to battle....

Any help?

You can get to fight the epic boss after fighting any enemy on any map. This one just seems to be taking quite a few kills to kick in, so I suggest ones that require very little energy.

Just fight the bosses in the boss event.
