There seems to be a trend for gaming software companies to release games that are still in the 'foundation' stage whereby many features that were originally touted are missing or not working properly. They release the game and then continue development on it while players are playing which sometimes can cause even more problems. Sounds familiar?

Here is another game that was released and with the backlash from the gamers, the company decided to pull it and refund all users - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-20796455

In the days when games were bought 'off the shelf', this was never an issue but it seems to be a common occurrence these days that frustrates the gamers as they try to play these 'broken' games.

Is this the way that games are going? Is this the future of gaming? Please feel free to discuss or to release your frustrations ;)

I'd say no. There are alot of games out there that are fully functioning and have great support from the Dev team.

Even some "broken games" are fun to play with as long as you play it your way...
