There is likely a boss event rolling out and you get intermediate data. I suspect (although I'm not sure) that the different releases (Android, HD, non HD) are rolled out at different times, but it could just roll out for different players at different times based on other critiera; I generally get the new data in the morning.

Don't worry about it too much though, Gree normally manage to get the new events in good time without any issues or problems for all platforms.

Maybe Gree figures Android users deserve a head start to even up for the long delay getting boss events rolled out on that platform; letting the low level players on IOS have it earlier is not especially unfair to anyone, either. I was waiting and waiting for this but had no discipline, went ahead and (arrgh) leveled up because I had got so close I figured I would level up after not more than 2 or 3 bosses so it wouldn't have made any difference, I wouldn't get full benefit from leveling up until somewhere around boss 8 or 10, and no amount of effort is likely to get me past 15-16, that would require $$$, and hm I can't see redirecting any of that from the holiday booze budget, sorry, hic!

** Tried delete / reinstall shortly after noon, West Coast time, no change in the dataset, will try again after 1:00 (and again after 2:00, and if it's not out by 6:00, will launch a new camper account on my android phone. Gree wins again)

I've on a Samsung Galaxy Nexus Android device, and as of 2:25 Central Standard Time today, I do not have the boss event on my phone. This is frustrating, as I'm currently at level 48, and want to get 1 last shot in a boss event before I level up to 50. I hope this gets rolled out to my device soon!

On a sidenote, anyone else find the loot distribution odd? The most dispersed breakdown I see is:
1 common vehicle (assuming the Geta)
2 armor (kimono, obi)
2 gun (kuna, pistol)
4 melee

Thus only 1 of the 6 non-common items is vehicle or armor.

This has got to be most anticipate boss event - normally people wait for boss event to start than we have people complain they haven't got the boss event than a day later there new update and we install it but the new update changes chance of getting a loot that you recieve in the game and the whole vicious cycle starts again. :(.

Until it saying updating under data set it won't be come.

Well, the boss loot for all 5 tiers is in the game files, so it shouldn't be level dependent.

So far, on forum two android players indicate boss event is live; one (you) @ lvl 16 and the other low-20-something.

No indication any high level players on any platform have it, yet.

I checked a lvl 24 ipad account this morning, nothing on that device, either.

I played it lastnight, got to level 21 and the rewards from this boss event are very abundant, atleast for my girlfriends account they are. she seems to have insane luck with Crime City though, especailly with scratchers.. still nothing on my phone yet though.

Within a matter of 2 hours, her mafia attack and defense went up close to 300 each one, just from the event items. got something every kill


EDIT: My girlfriends mafia code is 442-994-234. I texted her and told her to accept any friend reqests she gets. If you are curious about the reward's and the power of them, just add her to your mafia and go to her profile.

The rest of us, if we get this event, probably will be a five day event beginning tomorrow, expiring on Christmas or day after. I doubt Gree employees will be working next Mon/Tues so it sounds as if the event went out too early and to those in the First Tier of players.

I'll be another to confirm that the boss event can be triggered on my camper account (level 10), but nothing on my main account (level 73). These accounts are both on Android. No splash screen and the boss event only appears under goals when it's triggered.

I still do not have this event on the phone, and I'm about to raise some hell.
Jackie, (my girlfriend), is still triggering the boss events. me and her have bought over 100 gold just to do the fights. all the money for the gold came from my debit card which is linked to my account which is the account i still can not access the event on. Throw me a freaking bone GREE. She has been killing that boss for three days now and I havent been able to access it on my personal account yet. Now I see they have released a new box event. this indicated to me that they have scrapped the boss event that some people had access to, but most people didnt.

This is really getting to me, fellas. Only because I invest my money in gold and idk. i just feel like i should be treated as a valued customer rather than a number.

Probably not. You are probably looking at a weapon bought for gold or obtained from crates. Some Weapons/Events have been recycled, but not for boss events as far as I know.

If you suspect a weapon is sixth tier, please post it's name, stats, and the stats you think it should be for tier 5 so forum members van verify it. Any additional information would be greatly appreciated.
