I figured we'd find out that the "top 25" was supposed to read "top 250." I think someone said they had a goal that mentioned making it into the top 250, and then it would make sense for that to be the weaker item.

I think this type of event should actually be a week long considering the number of items you have to collect to even attempt an attack, which you lose if you fail. Heavy gold spenders not included.

Extra time is not cool for the players that have been at each others throats for top 25. They'll probably have to spend another couple vaults to stay in top 25.

I agree.. I am up to 3 hitmen and won't spend any gold so I have no horse in this race, but this seems like a ploy to get more income at gree

Wow yeah, mega stat jump on both. This was the first time I ever spent a lot of gold on an event (well a lot for me). I finished in the top 25 for time and I have 41 kills. So as of now I'm looking at 3 high stat items. I will take it.

In order to get a bullet to drop each time ur gonna have to do a job for almost 300 energy. What I have been doing is twice a day when my energy bar is full (1950) I go to a low level map and empty my bar on the boss of that board and will usually walk away with about 10-12 bullets. I got lucky where I got about 18 in one shot yesterday and has kept me above water with the bullets.

Top100 was better but with the latest Android update to today the top25 prices are better.
As they should.
To be in top100 you need more or at least equal nr of kills as the person at place 100 in the kill list.

They've totally nerfed the event for me, stuck at 5 hitmen. 10 blnt In a row. I will not be using gold on this one

I agree. I am level 34, with 3.5k attack and 4.3k defense and I am a light gold buyer. I might buy 500 gold a month (have only been playing CC a month now).. Point being, im not a heavy gold buyer, but I am indeed a person who buys gold. And I cant even get past like a level 15 boss. It would cost me like 150 gold a day just to get to a level 25 boss and thats just not right. The price of gold on this game is sickening.

I just got 7 bullets out of 16 attempts from the Police Chief in the civic center, only about 60energy a pop.

Bullets drop rate got nerfed down I'm getting about 30% less bullets per 1000 energy then before.

Ok just on a quick guesstimate by multiplying the # of kills the leader had 331, and the 40 gold it costs for the reset and guaranteed opening that was 13,240 in gold. That's not including any gold spent on energy refills which I'm sure was a lot. All I can say is wow..........

I got all 3 that were due to me. I finished #3 in time and got both those items and finished in the top 100 for kills so got that item as well. I received them all as soon as I logged out and back in.

I'm a causal gold spender but took advantage of the Black Friday sale on top of the iTunes discount and then used the gold bonus program. The 3 items I received are now the 3 strongest attack items in my inventory and increased my stats close to 6k. All in all I used under 2500 gold to acquire all 3. While to me it's a lot of gold I feel a lot better after seeing that the #1 person in kills had to use well over 13k!!!

It shows differently on iPhone and Android. On Android it is time elapsed, on iOS it is time remaining. Need to se what you see.
