Is it worthy the effort to save 100mil for? If it is only for like the rest of the year, then there is no a chance for some of us to get it. So it is discrimination against the little guys! Rich is getting richer, and you renters get stuck paying the landlords for the rest of your lives!

lol the rest of the year? a lot of people think it may be gone tomorrow. built my first one tonight and i'll be building my second one tomorrow.... and yes this building is the best value in the game. sell all your other buildings to get it if you need to. srs.

My first one is ready in 8h, had to give up some buildings, but it is worth it. Everything can be rebuild and made better. And time is relative as Einstein put it so brilliantly.

Just sell all your buildings if required. Well worth it as you can always rebuild them.
Every minute you delay building it is a chance you take they will be nuked.
Fortunately I did not have to sell anything and just built the second one on both account :)

Also, saying that someone cannot get it by the end of the year is funny. In attacking and raiding over Friday and Saturday, I have made enough for about one building. That's not counting the income I get from my buildings. Second building going up...

I just sold the least upgraded buildings and defense buildings. I noticed that upgrades are taken into account while selling, but wasn't paying that much attention how exactly, sorry.
One example i do remember when trying out, guard tower lv2 sold for 4200 if im correct. Lv1 cost is 7500

Man I just sold a level 5 chemical plant and only got $13 Million. My level 4 to level 5 upgrade alone for the chemical plant cost me $42 million. Is this how it works.

I can save the $95M (w/level 5 Concrete Factory) in 20 days if:

1.) I collect every money building I have on-time for the entire 20 days.
2.) I don't spend any money on upgrades, new units, or anything else.
3.) No one steals any from me in a raid or attack.

#1 is pretty much impossible so why spend the time worrying about #2 or #3. I don't think my current buildings are enough to make up the difference if I sell them either. I may have to pass on this one.

I'm only level 25 with about an 80K IPH, so theres no way I'll save 100MM if I only rely on the cash my money buildings generate.

Luckily I've invested most of my skill points into stamina, so I've been attacking every and anybody on my rivals list with a decent amount of on hand cash. So far I've been able to save 13MM... still a very long way to go.

Its pretty tough going for someone without a good economy to sell buildings and/or buy vaults of cash. PVP is pretty hard for low to mid level players. High levels may be a challenge as those with lots unbanked are probably getting rid of the reserve by purchasing them and upgrades. I've already dropped 320 odd million on two of these and a level 2 upgrade so far.

We all have time to work out an appropriate strategy.Remember that each upgrade knocks the cost down $1M, so if you're paying more than $1M per Cement Factory upgrade you're better off saving the $ directly (for the short term).

I would love to start finding some cash cows, but from my entire time playing I have only found 3... that's pretty sad. I think I'll start finding more where I am at now, but pvp has not been profitable for me as a whole to this point. Valor farming has been it's only benefit for me.

The thing is that is if you are a camper like me, who carries around 50m+ on hand on a daily basis, this event is perfect. Had to come out and actually fight but no big deal for a buidling like the AC. What sucks is if you are a low level though..

I love that a cash money building is offered because it rewards economy builders who don't spend gold (and light players). If it was a gold building only then it would be elitist. This way free players have the same opportunity as those buying vaults. That said 100m is a lot.
