Most gold spent to get final box?

I just had to spend an insane amount of gold to get the 10th satellite.
What is the most gold you have had to spend, to get that final prize in any collect 10 event?

I can tell you how much I've spent and NOT received the 10th box. It's twice as much as I've ever spent to win an event.

I'm too embarrassed to say how much, but once I started. I had to keep going, otherwise I wasted everything I had already spent previously.
In one event I spent 1 vault to get the 9th and 10th item.
In another I spent 500 gold, and 900 for another.

The first two days I didn't even get a sat box only rockets and folders then I ended up with 60 sat boxes and couldnt get past 8 so I didn't spend any gold bull **** I was going to go all the way

I chased that 20% casualty reduction unit while back, and I spent like over 2 vaults of gold chasing it and still only ended up with just 9. :mad: Out of frustration, I sent in a whining ticket, and Viet refunded like half of the golds back to me. :o

This will also be the last event I use gold unless they change the useless units awarded. I can live with not making it to # 10 that is the gamble I agreed to take. I can't live with the useless units.

Ya gotta be level 10, but the most recent one ended earlier today. If you level up to 12 you'll be able to give flan a visit too lol.

These collect ten events shouldn't be this difficult to get the last part. I understand they want encourage players to spend gold, but if they made the events more reasonable to obtain the better prizes I think more players would spend.

Given the state of chance obtaining #10, I don't know why I keep throwing a little gold at it. I would rather throw a little towards boss events knowing the what I will get, but also know I won't until my stats are good enough to get to at least the mid 20's or better for free.

They suck you in with the 10th unit. For us Russia players, it is good to have powerful indestructable air units, and the boost (when working) is always helpful. But you're basically deciding if you want to buy it or not. It sucks. But Gree accomplished their goal, at least to an extent. They managed to have players spend real $, and gave very little, if anything, in return for it.

I spent about 1050 or so on the last box. I was certain the next timer reset and key would deliver the payout... I have same issue when I go to Vegas but I seem to have better control of my money in that environment!

This last one cost me 320 gold from 8 to 10, but at least I got it in the end.

So this 20 % Health Regen Bonus unit is added to the the Faction health bonus reduction also?
