Has anybody else been avignon trouble the past few Events with the countdown timer in the Event not working. Just freezing on whatever time it happens to be when you check in to the Event. Any idea's on a fix. Another aggrevating Gree glitch?

It's still counting down. Just reopen the window and its fixed.

I think it's to stop 'overtime'.

I think it's to stop 'overtime'.it doesn't stop OT, and it really makes no difference to the game or opening of the boxes.

No, you don't have to close the app... Just the box open window.

I would prefer it fixed.

I had this problem other day. Ended up getting no overtime.

Android seems to be working (neglecting the fact my phone counts down from 1:04 rather than 1:00).

So let me take this opportunity to say:

"Get a droid phone."
"use a real operating system."
"they don't care about iOS, deal with it"

If you were fed crap, would you "deal" with it?
Your choice but I won't.

Yes. You are right, having a timer update only when you re-open a window is completely analogous to going to a restaraunt and paying for a nutritious and tasty meal to be cooked for you, and instead being forced to eat a plate of excrement.

Boy that timer issue must really bother you. Personally, I think being force fed a pile of poop would be a lot worse. No accounting for taste though.

It does happen to me on IPhone 4... And it is not easily fixed... I suppose it has something to do with how good my connection to Internet at that time...
