Is short term financial gain worth long term faster leveling?

I just robbed my first nightclub at level 34. two hits for about 80k... then in the same hood two level 10 movie theaters which I hit for around 200k total, then a level 9 loft worth 266k and then a level 7 loft worth around 144k. Then in another hood I took two level 7 movie theaters for 80k total.
net gain: 960k in around 4 minutes.
normally I would be s***ing bricks in excitement but it was almost bittersweet as it gave me several hundred experience points and I am now level 35.

my question is, is it smarter to become a full time robber(MTs, Lofts, NC, and other higher level buildings only) and make as much money as I can with the time provided, or should I go the more patient route that I have been doing before (only level during boss events)?
My stats are
atk/def
12007/13106
172 mafia

opinions?

P.S. assume that I enjoy each tactic equally or not dependent on which play style is more fun to me

Depends if your prepared to spend gold on boss events later on as they get a lot harder as you level up and you won't get as far. In game cash and respect will soon become worthless to you when you level up

I am at lvl 147. I must confess I am a serial robber. :o My iph is like 225k an hr. But I routinely make 10-15 mil robbing my fellow players. I can only get to lvl 15 doing boss events. No gold is used for this.

So I say rob away and hell with leveling. If it matters setup a robber account to go with your camper.

You need to simply be more selective when you rob. Compare the xp resulting from robbing different types of buildings and simply avoid the ones that give off too much xp, like movie theatres. Certain buildings like lofts not only give great cash but high RP too. There are some great charts you can search for that set it all out. See also the updates to the best of the best guides.

I don't care about xp, so I rob whatever. Just now I robbed a church and a casino. I would have robbed the casino again, and the other one, and everything else, but the fcking game made my player walk from one end of 30 expansions to the other and during that time the buildings got cleaned out. Fck Gree for allowing that problem to continue existing.

That drives me crazy!!! Nothing worse then finding a nice juicy hood and then it taking forever to get to the damn building!!!!

Nice uncollected hoods are hard to find. Take 'em when you get 'em.

Hey Dudeman
What I do to speed up my movement is tap my guy near your robbery site then rob.
My guy appears next to where i want him to be immediately.

There's an easy way to avoid that. When robbing consecutive buildings on the opposite side of a large grid, tap the street in front of the second building before you hit it. Your avatar will appear five steps from where you tapped then be ready.

Iteachem,Jobadass and you were attacking me daily taking my eplosives. Dunko would drop in once in awhile as well. All good, just part of the game. now that we are all in the grey zone (175-183?) we don't see each other :-(

Yeah, that's not news. Strolling through the hood is a random bug though. Most of the time, probably 90% of the time or better, I can tap any building and my toon appears where he's needed.

Since the hood stroll isn't normal, it's not my first instinct when I find a juicy hood to tap beside good buildings instead of on them.

IMO, that makes as much sense as waiting until after a shower to have a dump. ;)

for OP i agree with dudeman who cares about xp, just rob until your heart's content. unlike me my heart will never be content so i will rob until i win the game(which maybe soon)

I guess I'm not the only one who's patience with gree(tard)'s bs is wearing thin. Lol :p

I already scrapped my MQ account on account of gree's e-carny scummy behaviour.

Here's my advice OP:

Rob everything worth robbing.

Attack everyone you can win against.

Click every job that's drops good gear.

You will be fine. I am a free player and my stats keep me in the green. Go all out.

If gree implemented a new way to gain xp and it had a reward, I would do that as well.

Have fun.

I decided to be very selective with my robberies: MT's at 7+, Lofts at 5+ and any nightclub
and now attacks: anyone with 400k+ unbanked
So far this tactic has worked out. Just took a different guy for two lvl 4 nightclubs (385k x 2 for each) and their two level 7 lofts (forget how much for each..) and lvl 7 and 8 MT's for a lot as well.. total: 1.678m put all towards more stat growth.
My plan is to follow this robbing/attacking guide but stay below level 50 for as long as possible until my Nightclubs are at least lvl 2 each.
It's much more fun to have a larger mafia and have stronger rivals too :D

Obviously your attack and defence stats are the ones that you should be trying to increase the most. You'll benefit the most from completing as many boss events in the lower tiers as possible, There's plenty of time to make in game cash which becomes worthless in the end.

Just rob the odd nightclub when you come across one and focus on building the most impressive hood you can, thats what Avon does anyway.

very true... I can currently get through round 25 with one health pack.. I need to get that number up a bit...
And money will be playing a fairly large role judging that I'm only using gold for buildings and the occasional boss and explosives are expensive -.-
This attacking, though more exciting , won't help me in the long run too much. Thanks for the input bill :)
