How is it that people can beat a boss with 1 free hit? Am I reading something in to what people are listing? I am on the 5th level boss and I may barely make it in 2 hours using cash option. Any ideas?

My guess would be that your attack stats are low for your level (as it pertains to the Boss at least). The higher your attack stats are the more damage you inflict to the boss per hit.

For example: Boss #1 has a health value of 10,000 damage. There is much debate to figure out where our hit value comes from, but it's a % of your attack stat. I have an attack stat of 31,000. One free hit does 18,000 damage to the boss, thus defeating him in one hit.

Actually I meant tier in this instance. You are in the highest tier where the bosses are insane. tier one 1-25, so a player at level 26 has to be stronger than before to kill as many bosses as they did in the first tier

But I can't hurt this boss at all. It took me 4 cash attempts at level 1 to take him down. At level two, it will take me 6-7 cash attempts. Why is this event so tough? Or is it bugged like the last event?

Players in the top tier +150 have been having a lot of trouble with the bosses being too strong. They fixed it for the the level 100-149, but apparently haven't adjusted the values of boss health for you guys yet.

At my current level and stats, I'm only doing 54,873 damage to the boss for every cash attempt.

I don't think I'll go beyond level 2 on this boss. It's unfeasible.

I'm lvl 87 w/~19k att ( I know, I'm a slow learner) and had to go to cash on 3rd boss, and start resting on 4th. Have 3 common, 3 rare after 6th boss.

Because of a level up - I was able to squeak by Boss #9 - for the rest of the time - I'm out. It takes about $2,000 of real money to get from Boss 10 to 35 when you are past level 150.

I'm not doing bad so far. Of 25 bosses, I have 6 rares... and I'm still going. Last boss only took 6 cash hits. But, the commons really rot. Like 8/12's and and 12/11 kinda rotting.

I started at level 25, so this is probably my last chance at killing a boss for free.

(I'm a 100% free player for MW, excluding tapjoy and Add-Me-Monday winnings)

By some gold and go all the way! In my experience 5 extra bosses only cost 180 gold. The loot you would get, plus that tank.. Probably worth 2000 gold at least

I went from lvl 95 to first stage lvl 96, even farmed some venal fighters. No pvp.

with your stats i'm surprised venal fighters would make a difference! but hey at least the bosses have been fixed for lvl 100-150. you wont have any problems in this bracket

They do not make much difference, but i never farmed anything other then desert leaders or amphibious troopers.
At least i have some in my battle units now. Well they probably die quickly.

Congrats Zolt, only downside of moving into the 101-150 bracket is the sharp increase in cash attack costs. Probably won't effect you as much since you get through a solid amount of bosses w/ free attacks, but boss 16 already costs $170k per attack. Would probably be closer to $50-70k in the previous tier.

good point Dr D- beating number 35 to get my ship a couple boss events back cost me around 8 million in game cash. almost had to buy a mega attack instead of a med pack bc of low funds.. then my oil rigs delivered :)

That is a downside of course, but my IPH is when my current upgrade finishes >800k.

Boss 35 does not always drop a rare. I have been getting commonS, uncommons and rares on boss 35 in past and current event.. However the chance to get a rare is somewhat bigger.
This boss event level 35 dropped an uncommon as you can see on page 1.

I didn't track the order of my boss battles, but I just beat level 35, so here are my final results:

Schwartz's Tank = 1 (yeah!)
Rares = 6 (17.2%)
Uncommons = 10 (28.5%)
Commons = 19 (54.3%)

Had to spend more gold at the end than I meant to, mostly Tapjoy gold but had to hit my credit card at the end. It was fun to win the event, but I don't think that I will spend any more real money for pixels in the near future.

This is the second time I've had problems in the boss event. Now i see why there was a boycott...
