Invalid data please delete and reinstall. It works but when you close the app and reopen it you get the message again

I'm In uk and it is still old version on apple it may be there tomorrow , look at version if it's 2.2.2 that's the old one , new one is 3 .

Yep, things are going down the plughole fast. Not only are attacks on low level players now costing me multiple units where that didn't happen before, I now find my defence stats falling despite replacing units lost in attacks on a like for like basis and also continuing to buy additional units. So, the more units I buy, the weaker I become? I mean what the hell is going on? I was at 69915 and now I'm at 69876 despite buying 17 stratotankers? This game is quickly turning into a pile of poo.

I had the same issue yesterday for a few minutes while I was at the movie watching I am Pi

I turned my phone off and restarted and it started working fine.

This has been going on for several days. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it with no improvement. I've raised a ticket. I'm not hopeful to be honest.
