Have you tried checking for updates via the Google Play store? It is a full on app software update, not just new data files that download when you restart the app.

I deleted the old version and reinstalled it on my Kindle from the google store, and I still don't have scratchers on mine. Ive got MW version 2.0.2, data date mw_20121128-1, Build 27 and I just now reinstalled it.

BTW, I also have the 20% Off Gold Sale. So while others are getting free, albeit useless, units from their scratchers, I am getting a 20% off sale so that I can buy the same ones.

I guess this is GREE boycotting ME instead of the other way around. LOL. sort of.

I posted this in the other thread too (People really need to look on the first page for update posts before creating a new one!) but it appears that the version of MW on the Amazon App Store is 2.0.2 while the Google Play version is 2.0.5. No idea how or when the Amazon app gets updated.

If you have a Kindle Fire and you have a version before 2.02, go to the Amazon App Store from your device and click on Modern War. If you don't have the current version available through Amazon, the button that normally says Install will say Update instead.

I think I heard previously that Amazon is slightly behind Google for updates. Something about more stringent protocols at Amazon, more hoops to jump through before a download is listed.
