View Full Version : How do I upload a picture to a thread

Whenever I try, it says the picture exceeds the memory limits but I see other people upload SCREENSHOTS all the time. Why can't I, or how do I reduce the file size?

1. Upload to http://imageshack.us/, then resize as you wish

2. Write here the link like this:

PS: As tony says, download photobucket or similar app to host.

First, you need to register an account with imageshack.us like khayman indicated. You upload your image there and you don't have to resize, as you will refer to the image url later. Then you start editing your post and insert the image using the url option, you have to specify the *direct* image url from the imageshack.us.

Pick any thread which has the image, and view the page source, you will see how it was done.
