Hello all, I would like players opinion on the best use of respect points. ie... lots of lower priced items or save up and get fewer higher priced ones. Also, is any one category better than the others? Thanks for time.

Offcourse not , you need to make a spreadsheet of your inventory or know what you are doing .

500 items max , so random buying items have no use >.< .
First time already hit the 40k stats without gold purchase around 118 .

So count your highest guns , melee , armour and vechicles .
See what your lowest are in each section .

Gee people really have problems with such simple game .

You unlocked Exelero, drop every respect you have on that now and see what happens....

The best items that are considered:

Vehicle - Excelero
Gun - RPG
Armor - NVB
Melee - Chain Whip

The NVB is kind of an opinion point. You're only really getting 1 additional attack point in comparison to the Full Combat Gear for half the price. You can simply replace the FCG with a cash item later on, there's plenty to pick from. It's your call what you want to do with your account on that choice :p

Additionally, your IPH is really weak for a free player at Lv118. You need to build up the IPH to purchase some in-game weapons (Grenade Luncher, Steel Garrote, Blast Guard Helmet, Audi). You are no match for the gold players, but at least that would keep you competitive among the free ones.

Got a lot of work to do, good luck and have fun!

Search the forums, read the BoB, then come back in 30 days.

Chain whips, then either RPG or Exelero. I'd go Exelero because decent guns are easier to get from other sources than vehicles are.

Forget the other items unless you're losing most of the fights that you pick with other rivals. They'll just be replaced with the top rp items.

I was reading another place and the best thing i read was not to spend them until at least level 55. It said to save them as they never get consumed so spending them before level 55 means they will more than likely quickly leave your items taken to battle.

OP said he is at level 118

As others said check your inventory and get what you're lacking. Armor is usually pretty weak unless you farmed lots of UWV's or utility belts. And the night vision goggles are a better deal than the full combat as someone else mentioned.

Robot Armor is farmable at the Nightlife District later on. 9/27 makes for a nice replacement for FCG.
