Limt to number of single item purchases?

Is there a limit to the number of a single item one could purchase? If so, what is the limit?


I don't mean how many you bring to a fight...that's irrelevant, but if I wanted to buy 18,000 trenchcoats; Could I?


I'm not planning to buy a bunch of useless gear, but there is a reason for my question.

I have a serious reason for asking, not just to point out to some noob that he maxed out on a bunch of worthless items and wasted a bunch of cash. I may just have to do that though. :)

I do not think there is. If CC is like MW in this aspect. It has been discussed that if one wanted the strongest cash army, (not including what you win or respect items) he would have to buy 2000 units of one type for attack, and 2000 units of another type for defense. Since you only take the strongest of each into battle.

I have seen people on MW with thousands of cash units. But have not payed attention in CC, so I am merely speculating.

I've seen 18000 in a persons inventory... It's probably limited by a variable size, but the limit is so high it doesn't matter.

The limit will be either:

65535 or
2,000,000,000 and change.

These correspond to a 16bit and 32 bit integer. If you can buy items over 500, its unlikly there's any fixed limit over and above the limitation of the memory size.

I know a noob thought his mafia friends would bring their own weapons, he only needs to provide weapons for himself and his henchmen, LOL. :)

I'd go with this assumption as well.. 2,137,xxx,xxx (damn I can't remember now) has been the limit on other MMO games I've played, such as Lineage 2 (until they updated it).
