The rest are completely expendable, we will dump an add them at will based on where we need to be. Everyone in the game is considered a viable target, who is not a pirate. Some have wanted to join us to keep from being hit. Those one are obvious, and arnt allowed in. This thread is about trying out to become an actual pirate. We have things that we look for in a candidate. When we find a good match, they will be invited in. This will give a large number of players an opportunity to prove that they have what it takes to become the next pirate idol. There may be one, there may be many, there may be none. Look at the pirates you do know. If you have the same qualities they do, you may very well be a great match for us, and us for you. The game gets much more intresting when you see the possibilities that we see.

I think your Pirate tryouts thread (aka Pirate Idol) would be more interesting if it included elements of the american idol show.

Once you have been accepted for consideration as a pirate, you would by definition not be a viable target for us. Now I know some will try to join just to prevent being a target, I would say don't waste your time. You would be easily spotted and dropped. At the very least you will get to have an opportunity to see a portion of what being a pirate is like, and get to talk to and mingle with the real pirates in our private clubhouse. Think about what pirates do, taking all the hype out of it , both good and bad. Then think if it's something you might have fun doing.

HA, the show stinks. I can only stand the auditions portion because you can't help but laugh at some of the people that think they can sing (see my earlier post RE: the people who want to ally with the pirates to not be targets).

I was beatmeup, selfproclaimed,curbsideturtle. Was in the KOS kings of socom clan, zero tolerance clan. I started on socom 2. But really got into it on socom 3 and been playing it since.

Nice, Socom 2 had a few maps where I could play 1 on 8 and win 30% of the time, like fishook! Socom 3 was cool, I just never got very good at the quicksniping

Some of the newer socom games have been incorporating some old socom 2 maps into their games. Socom 3 became no boom, and quick sniping after awhile, then glitchers and mod discs took over. But sorry about semi hijacking thread.

Sugar, you might be embarrassed to know that.lol. I never watched that much, but have from time to time. I even watched a few shows when Steven Tyler was on, but I just can't bear it with the latest judges. Maybe some of you can be outside the doors to comfort the ones that don't make the cut.

Lol...I only know because I watch the Today show, and they made such a big deal when they were announcing the new judges. And, then it was a big deal when the two divas almost got into a smackdown during taping..

I never watched when Steven Tyler was on. In fact, I only watched the first couple of seasons before I had enough. But some of the auditions are sheer comedy. The clip that Albeezy posted was great.

Well the ratings for the first episode of Pirate Idol are in and it was a smashing success for the judges and the contestants as well. Unfortunately, not everyone on the show got such rave reviews. One viewer had this to say:
