Don't give up so easily. This event is at least a day and a half longer than their usual collect 10 events. You have a better chance.

My strategy for openning boxes seems to be working for this event. I am at 7 and hopefully will make 10. Out of about 25 opens I have only gotten 5 sorries, and most of them came early.

Get your first box, try to open with cash, if you fail wait 1 hour try again. Only keep 1 box at a time. When your box opens, immediately go get another.

Granted I have ended up with more armored chargers and dragon soldiers, but less sorries.

Smarter people than me may know this. But I think that the more boxes you have on hand, the harder it is to open and get the part. Almost like a permutation algorithm. Because towards the end of the last event I would have 40 boxes on hand and they never opened.

I am waiting for a crack at a time reduction unit. Reeeally want that one. I already have the Draughtsman.

i have elite mps which gives "40% more valor" i guess it is supposed to be from just fights, not raids

It's 20% more valor, increased as a portion of the number of boosts that have ever worked, divided by 0.

Your chance of getting part #10 is only 2.05% i believe. so your doing well. Remember gold does not garuntee anything.

Congrats McDoc! Bringing the McDeezy method out of hibernation?I did for the first 45 minutes - but then pulled back for number 10. The prize is really weak. I haven't s seen a prize or LE with over 300 stats in a while.
