I'd rather it be around what I pay for a cash open. I'm charged 134,000 to open so maybe 200000 would be nice. Thats should be a option though.The "open" is 1000 x your level to get your price of 134,000 at level 134 - so if the Reset was 10 x the open price - then it would be $1,340,000 - That would be very fair - except that they will never replace anything that costs Gold with a cash option.

Totally agree that stats on the units are awaful.

At my level the top unit has stats of 185/182 the 7th & 9th
is about as good as a crate unit & in no way enticing me into bothering with this event.

Very true! 5 years as a Naval Corpsman has made me critical of everything I see. Movies, graphics, toys... But I'm sure Gree does not care too much about accuracy. :)

For me, most would make it into battle, but they're not strong enough to justify the leveling I'd have to do to get them. The boss event is a much better return on leveling(this is how you approach the game when you're fiscally challenged).

I already have a 40% valor bonus, supposedly, but I don't see that it's given me much of an advantage, if any. If it was a bonus I could trust, I might go for it for the chance.

If you just stay steady at the event , you have a Good chance of reaching to at least 7,could even get to nine. And it is possible to win the 10th as a free player. I know a lot of forum members have reached past 10 completely free before. If its your time, it's your time.

Since then, it's all PvP. I only do PvP during an event, so I can complete some valor missions and get boxes/crates.

a good way to test it is hit an abandonded base. there are still plenty of them out there.

Yeah like poop said, specifically look for a low ranked target. If their unit count is only in the hundreds (assuming this player is max allied) you won't suffer many losses, if any at all.

Right, just thinking in terms of; a private is more likely to be an abandoned account than say a major (Rankings have been out since what May/June? Pretty easy to get 251 BPs). But it would be unwise to assume every medium/high ranked account is an active account. Or vice versa; low ranked accounts can still be active.

I just notice a lot of low ranked players in the low 100's with 300 - 800 units, so it's easier to just target them on the rivals list first when looking for abandoned accounts.

Good work manbeast! The events are rigged for me. Nothing but sorry and crapy in-destructible for the past one and a 1/2 days... And I'm still sitting on 9. I see a common trend here, because I have gold that I refuse to spend due to the boycott, they know it and are preventing me from getting the final unit. I would be surprised to get it before the end...because win not bowing down and spending crap all gold to get it. We'll see what happens over the remaining days.

Given an open, expect a 15.58% chance at the 8th part (for whatever reason it's 13.79% in the 81+ group); and then for #9 it's a 7.14% chance given an open (6.25% for 81+ tier).

The odds of receiving the 10th part given an open is ~2%, so not impossible, just requires luck.

I've won 6 of the collect 10 events and never spent a single gold bar on them. Your argument is invalid.


Leaderboard events are the only events to date that you have no chance of winning without gold.

long ago when this events started I sent a ticket to support asking them how the items is determine and if gold guarantees a part
their answers was
1- gold do not guarantee a part only a open
2 - if you have 1 or 40 boxes, they are all random (they are not numbered 1 to 40 and you do not open #1 or #40, first, they are all the same)
3 - item inside the box is chosen randomly when box is open

Seems we got it at the same time...? Coincidence or what? Maybe everyone had to try in the 8th or 7th hour of the last day to get it. I don't think it has to do with a multiplier at all. I got a box and opened it immediately with the middle option and bang, got the missile. Been trying for days before that, successful opens only got me crappy returns continuously. I'd say they GREE realized everyone was onto their scheming ways so they thought they'd put it back the way it was in the first t days. Hence, why people got it around the same time. That's a coincidence!

I'm not going to say you are wrong because we have seen evidence some of the units that have boosts don't work.

However, with regards to this particular boost, how can we be sure it doesn't work? I ask this because I get 1 valor per attack quite a lot. If I were to get this unit with +20% increase in valor, and I attacked the same rival what should we expect to see? I believe we would see the 1 valor as before because 1 x 1.2 = 1.2 or effectively 1 again.

In the case where we would get 5 valor from an attack, with the 20% boost we would get 5 x 1.2= 6

So in essence the boost is insignificant at 20%.

The boost for valor should have been at least 50%, more like 100% extra valor. That would be a worthwhile boost.

I figured there would be other units from the past with the same boost, and yes you should never be lower than 2 in that case. Oye...

I'm surprised my +50% from cash raids boost works. It doesn't do a whole lot of good now either when casualty losses are what they are.

I got the MPS Vessel with 40% + the SeaWolf 20% = 60% More Valor boost total & when i do PvP is pretty much the same thing. I can get 1 valor anytime i do PvP... I guess we need to send ticket or tell CCMark about this or something...

Day one, using game cash I got 5 missiles, day two I got 4 using the free option. At this point I was ahead of my "2 a day" plan......now I've been trying mainly game cash for 4 days and get nothing most the times, no sign of a missile. Used gold to get a 100% open and got a ghost hound troop that died in next battle haha. What a false incentive :(

Got the 9th early yesterday and was encouraged by others getting #10 fairly early. Glad to have another trophy on the shelf. It would be nice if it added to the goal valor awards...it just says 20% more valor rather than being specific about raids, attacks, etc. so who knows. Otherwise it has minimal impact.

I hope they continue to throw us more of these 10 item events every now and then, but for now I will gladly put that box opening expenditure to better use. :)

Seawolf Class Destroyer is also in my inventory:D The hardest was to get from #8 to #9. It took me about three days and a lot of sorries in the meantime. I've got #9 about three hours ago and within the last 45 minutes of the event I used 210 gold to open 7 from my 12 last boxes and got fully successfull. Congrats to all that managed to collect 10 tomahawks. Cheers

Yeah I have the 40% valor boost from the MPS Vessel and receive 16 Valor in some fights, which should be impossible given a working boost :

11 * 1.4 = 15.4 or 15 Valor
12 * 1.4 = 16.8 or 17 Valor

Unless these #'s get truncated, I should never see 16 valor from a fight.

There is no consistancy with this game. i very rarely use gold, only when it is very cheap, like the 40% off at the start of this event. I had 7 opened boxes by the end of day 1, used all my gold! then for the next 4 days couldn't open another one using cash every time, i must've opened at least 40 boxes over the last few days with not one box being opened, Never again will i buy anything from this game, such a waste of money! How do you get 7 in one day and then nothing in 4 days?????
