Okay, I beleive you need to wait for the data set to update before you can trigger the boss (the event shows up via a different mechanism).

I also suspect that the new data set is not rolled out to everyone at the same time, but don't know how long (minutes or hours). I just cleared my cache, and it downloaded an older data set version a few minutes ago. Gree probably does that either because a) all players are different database servers, and stuff is rolled out on one at a time, b) they want to limit the number of concurrent uploads.

Well they just started triggering on droid. Restart, restart, restart, slam against the table, restart works for me.should i drop the phone from the third floor couple of times and try even further if the phone survives first too falls? i'm hoping that may help triggering the boss ..

Well it's true... But during haloween I was extremely lucky and got 3 rares in 12 levels... (I have somehow 2 Ceremonial Jians and Honorable Dragon Armor) Though I have never received a rare gun from any boss...

Well this is the Penarol method, was starting to think they'd scrapped the Epics. I chose to ignore both crate events but did try out the snitch note event.
Epics are my chosen event and my budget for this Epic is 60g to Round 22 or 23 of 40.

I know the engineers can nerf the drop rate to hell, but I don't think they will. We have been posting results from all events, and for me, I average about the same rates of R/U/C across all the boss events.

Plus, can you imagine the fallout if people spend loads of gold to get to 40 and do not even get a rare? Would be a MW style - CC boycott on their hands for sure.

I was just going on my data from previous events Dip.

6 boss events so far on two accounts and all 12 sets of data show me that you get a rare before you complete boss level 20. This event on the other hand is totally different data wise. My Avon account has just completed boss level 26and there's still no sign of a rare.

Also these stealth ops masks (which increase my attack stat by 2) are dropping constantly. I wouldn't mind if it was the non consumable explosive but the masks are doing nothing for me.


Does anyone know what category Milkovich's badge falls under. Please be an explosive!!

I'll try uninstalling the app and reinstalling, i'll edit in the results. As for the memory thing, my phone is too ghetto. They add so much pre-loaded crap, I'm surprised you can even download a single app.

Edit: I uninstalled as many updates as I could and deleted as much as I could and freed up some space. I re-downloaded it and still no mention of a boss even though the update isn't available. I guess when I re-installed it, it was the most updated version.

Edit #2: After relaunching the app, it crashed. Then after relaunching it a second time, the boss event showed up. 4 days to complete it :D

For future reference, it seems a data update is require prior to boss event triggering. If you go into the game for very short periods, it may not update before you shut down the app. Not only that not everyone gets the data update at the same time, it seems.

Best thing to do is to check your data is up to date, it normally has the date in the name: 1116 for example is 11/16.

When this has updated, or you are not sure, do a couple of jobs and either bank or withdraw $1. The banking forces a data update known the server and should make sure the boss triggers.

If you do more than 6 jobs and no trigger, it is worthwhile waiting as you may not have the right game data.

Wow...I don't think you can do better than that. Don't know if and how much gold you spent but it's certainly a better return on investment than the tons of gold "tam" spent to get 415 weapons schematics in the leaderboard event.

I'm totally jealous of you all, ha. You mind saying your level and attack? Stat-wise, I feel I'm far away from where I should be or want to be. If I should have posted somewhere else, I can. I found this forum and figured out how to truly play later than I would have wanted to. Any advice would be appreciated. My current stats are as follows:

Level 67
Attack: 16052
Defense: 16527
IPH: $106,086

Honestly, your A/D might be a tad low for your LvL, but that is easily correctable:

- Browse these forums, many good people put A LOT of time in and post valuable information.

- Personally, I take it slow in between bosses, but go crazy on the bosses, as many as I can. (Others have different styles) You get really good items along the way!

- To answer your question, I still have a couple of TP left, but phone is around 39kA/D @ LvL 45, Main account (iPad) - Same name as Forum - is just slightly lower in stats at same LvL.

- I accumulate TapJoy for gold and spend it wisely, IMO.

- When in doubt, ask questions... That's what these forums are for, tho ignore *henchmen* recommendations.

The boss is MUCH weaker at lower levels. Don't know why... I'd say if you want to beat him, the goal should be to get stronger, not stay weak longer.

Made a small mistake on the boss count, it was boss 30 without gold spend. My attack could be low to you, but at level 50 is it quite high. I didn't maxxed out on the explosives or other cash weapons so i can get it even higher if like. It's not needed yet.

EDIT* It was boss 31, trying 32 now.

Right now i will be waiting for the next boss event and my plan is to get almost all the best atk items i can get for my money. I got 262 TJ gold and with the information from The Billionaire i will try to calculate if it's possible for me to defeat the boss without any gold spend.

Out of curiosity was the rare the last one? I got to twenty 16 commons 2 uncommons and 2 rares...I used a
Level and gold on the last one but got a common.... Hated that so I am done

Yeah... the last one was a rare. If you're curious, I've gotten a rare on the last level I completed 3 times so far. The last two times it happened on level 20.

So cash attack til Boss #35? Then you probably need 60-70 Gold max to reach #40. I would say def go for it....

Defeated Vlad last night. Final boss was 11 cash hits (level 45 game, 36k attack).
Final tally: 11 Rares, 12 Uncommon, 17 Common.

The final prize wasn't as good as past ones, but the 11 rares more than make up for it! I started at level 43 and ended at 45. At this rate, it looks like I MIGHT get 3 more bosses before hitting the third tier. :)

My level 68 game isn't so lucky - I'm on boss 23 and will only be able to do 1 or 2 more.

I have 6 rebuilt cycles, 2 rusted saws and 3 AKS-74s on round 38 :cool: spent about 40 gold so far and might have to drop 50 or so more... I guess its worth while since I'm so close.. The thing is, I probably could finish it without spending gold but I'd rather get some sleep...
