I wanted to start a more positive thread about a past forum members that has contributed to the game and advanced discussions of game-play in the most positive of ways. We all have know of members that we follow that continually have a positive influence on the discussions and alway seem to rise above conflict. However, we have lost some of the valuable individual contributors and I for one hate to see them go.

One in particular that has been banned that I miss reading his contributions is Applemacguy. I mostly wanted to start a thread to point out to the forum moderators that Applemacguy was a very positive influence here and had many followers.

I am asking for members to show their support for Applemacguy by writing a short sentence or two about how he was a positive influence on the forum. I know him better than most and I can tell you that I probably would not be as involved with the game if it wasn't for his input. I hope that the forum moderators will recognize his contributions and show some leniency and allow him to rejoin the forum.

So, all of you Crime City members: I am asking you for your voice, your opinion and your support.

Here is mine: Applemacguy epitomizes what is best about the forum by contributing level-headed analysis of gameplay, mechanics, strategy and camaraderie. He always added to discussions in the most positive ways that had a logical, empirical and data-driven basis. I for one think that the forum has lost a rare and valuable contributor and hope he can be re-instated to continue to enhance the game for many members.

Without discussing any reasons, I was once permanently banned. I got the ban lifted and I don't doubt that AMG could also have his ban lifted if he really wanted.

A support ticket is all it takes.

He has tried for over a month and so far has not been able to get the ban lifted. Your example is good to note, it gives me a sense of hope.

Wow, that doesn't give me much hope at all.

I accidentally pressed "reply with quote" to a spam post months ago that was some kind of ED advertisement, complete with photos of limp ones. Apparently that was enough to count as posting pornography.

But I guess unreleased content is more offensive than several photos of dysfunctional male genetalia.

I have to admit that how you got banned is pretty hilarious! It is even more funny given your member name! LOL

While I don't know Applemacguy personnaly I think Gree should have a fair, honest ban policy and seeing how other members have been allowed to return what's one more. Everyone deserves a 2nd chance.

Bring the AMG back! :)
Their unreleased content was poorly implemented anyway. As well as not so secret :)

I don't know Applemacguy personnaly and the really reasons to be banned, but I agree with all you, that we must recover this kind of forum contributors.

All opinions are interesting (or not),
no more strong words here,
more game threads, more fun !

Companies that dont value people (whether consumers or employees) dont usually do so well in the long run. They prioritized their desire to protect what i am sure they saw as possible financial gain over the quality presence and contribution of a forum member. AMG has done more good for the forum than the saps who run it (i almost vomited because in saying that im giving them credit as if they did actually run the forum or do their jobs...).

I have talked to him a few times in game and the fact that he is not on here anymore yet some new troll shows up every other day is a little ridiculous I think.

AMG keeps his pride to his own , like he should sorry , same as anubis , synergy tons of others .
He found out the game as it is , he doesn't go creating a alt account .. Just to post on the forums again .

Anyway there is nothing more to discuss in this game , monster quest yes .
but CC not really , maybe Trey/Issis will try to stimulate the forum again .
Since last gold spender that is willing to share some secrets each new event :)

as for me nope am almost done , just posted cause of some PM .

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe it was AMG that started the original "Log Your Progress" thread. These threads provide a fun way to compare your success on events with other forumites.

Amg is And was an amazing friend. Sucks that people who get banned right away make new accounts. But the people this forum needs most are disciplined and perm banned.

AMG has been nothing but a positive influence on this game. His progress and discussion threads have been a huge part of the forum community. They have helped to form the community and as a contributor, is something every forum needs. His permanent removal from the forum is disheartening and a loss for the those seeking game knowledge. As we watch trolls sprout and be removed, only to reappear again, whilst true contributors are exiled, only perpetuates the stigma that this game and forum are broken. I hope they will review his previous posts and evaluate him by his entire character as opposed to one post they deemed in violation.

Is there no second chances? I think we as players, have given this game multiple chances. Had we adopted the same attitude that Gree has taken with AMG, there would be a lot less money flowing into their coffers.

Gree take note, he could have created another account to use on the forum and bypassed your block like many do. But that is not is character. He's a stand up guy, waiting for you to do the RIGHT thing.

AMG was one of the more helpful members along with some other legends when I first started this game over a year ago. The forum is not a better place without him for sure...

I didn't get to know him very well or for very long, but valued his opinions and respected his posts. He was a positive member of these forums.

Best I can do.Actually, this speaks volumes.

I usually disagree with people started other accounts to get around a ban. In AMG's case , I think the entire community could overlook it...maybe even Burn:)

I came here as a total noob and learned a lot by reading back through many past posts and dead threads. AMG is all over those posts with insightful and intelligent discussions, observations, theories and conclusions. This was a turf battle and a pissing contest that AMG had no chance to win because he doesn't own the playing field, and he probably never saw it as such. This reveals volumes about the priorities of the powers that be. The concerns of the player base, and forum members, are very low on that priority list. Cash is King and control is everything.

AMG's posts were very helpful to me in events when I was new. I sent a support ticket to Gree asking for his reinstatement
