I have an invisible ally!

I have no grunts nor allies listed. However, for some reason, i still have one. I will regularly give an update as to my invisibility status:

INVISIBLE
2 apc titans (ground units)
1 mig (air unit)
1 ally
7 boosts (i could be off 1 or 2, i lost count)

You always have one ally otherwise you would start the game bringing 0 units to battleI thought the same thing. But when Ferr dropped allies, he went to 0. It was quite funny because he had 0 attack, but 7k defense because of his defense buildings.

Correct. And now with 1 invisible ally most attackers still loose. I think gree is preventing me from dumping cash this way as with one ally only i already have stats like 17k attack and 26k def excluding invisible boosts...

Or, you can do what I sometimes do, buy trinkets, useless trinkets.

Besides, they're only FAKE GREE GROATS, and for the most part as worthless as the game from which they derive.
