Question on adding Mafia

Is there any advantage to adding more mafia? I currently have 688 but most others at my level (168)
have way more.

No, there isn't.

Anything above 500 is just fluff.... Unless you want to add ALL of crime city and never get attacked... Or ever attack anyone.

Currently on Android you might want to add more to

1. Falsely raise your atk/def stats to hide what they really are. It will show in your profile what your atk/def would be if you could use that many mafia and had some sort of item for each. You still only use 500.

2. be able to attempt to complete the atk/def goals sooner. It will tell you won, but won't give you the prize, and the goal will pop back up whenever you restart. It will complete every time you purchase (not just get) a new weapon that is strong enough to raise the (incorrect) number displayed in your profile.
