Should I join a gang?

Guy posted on my wall and asked me to join his gang FwD - dont know what that means, but they have a website lol. It was a long post about how i currently have no support or protection yadda yadda. I'm bored as F just slow leveling. Would doing something like this add excitement or just be really annoying? I don't really need help unless they can provide hacker insurance?

I've been asked before but he put together a paragraph and said good morning. Very polite.

There's not any real advantages aside from perhaps fun or bragging rights. I guess technically if someone attacks or robs you repeatedly your whole gang can go annoy the heck out of them (And that's only if you're all around the same level & mafia size). But aside from that, nah.

But it could add an extra element of excitement - or annoyance for that matter. It's entirely up to you.
