Loot Question

I tried to farm the Urban Warfare West in the in Empire Arena Plaza/Clothing Store.
According to the LOOT spreadsheet the drop rate should be 24%. 1 click job. 1.23 drops/1000 energy.
I used over 1500 energy. Did 7 jobs but there wasn't any drop at all.
I'm on Android and I wonder if the LOOT is broken or something?

android or ios.... there was a problem with loots drops on android i think.. If IOS then just keep trying..loot drops can fluctuate quite a bit and I can go days hitting the same location with nothing and then 2-3 in a row. the percentages are correct

yeah.. also from a personal experience. It seems that drop rates change during events. I have no proof of this but during some events I seem to get much better drops and during others it seems to go lower.. probably just the law of averages but it sure seems like the rate isn't stable.

I will often switch to another loot location if the drops get really bad.. when I was farming UWVs I switched up between that and ECBS

I used to do it and getting 1 out of 3 tries. On Android and using a old build still. Have no idea how the new drop rates are. But according to another post it should be fixed and working as intended.

This looks like random fluctuations. You will only get an exactly 24% drop rate if you are lucky or do the job an infinite number of time.

Which is correct. At 24% in average you should have between 4 and 5.

How does this work? I am at level 75 and have not understood how to get my defense up I have 190 members but still get taken by others who are hay higher than me at the same level.

On a positive note, my defense did go up so I'm happy.

Okay thanks, I dumped members down to 99 so I can float on level 75 and build. I have a ton of turrets I have been bumping them up to level 2. I heard that equipment only uses 50% of the defense where a building uses 100%.Is this true for turrets? Are they 100 or 50%

The loot sheets are outdated. Drop rates have changed. I have a program in the works that will take current rates based on every new data release.

The current drop rate from the latest data for the UWV at the Clothing Store is still 24%, at least for IOS.

The formula for any defense structure is the defense at level 1 + 1/2 of the original defense number per level added. The true defense of a gattling turret level 1 is 25, while at level 2 it's really only 37.5. Level 3 would only truly be defending you with 50 defense (25 + 12.5 + 12.5) while it in reality says it's adding 87.

Actual defense = (Initial Defense) + (Level - 1) * (Initial Defense / 2)

There is no difference between buildings and turrets, there is no difference on calculation or effectiveness. Turrets are preferred though, because their small size makes them easy to fit all 50 allowed whilst using minimal space.

There is no difference anymore between attack and rob defense that is visible. It is all behind the scenes now. Attack and rob defense is different, but all we can see is the same number for both attack and defense in the fight result screen.

You mean the items in your inventory? The full amount of their defense is added to your fight/rob defense. The only factors that change in the fight are the actual defense of their buildings, their defense skill points versus your attack skill points, and the random factor that isn't known.

I like this mafia count. I'm still trying to fill out my mafia with respect items, and this lets me have access to completion of TL goals :) My stats are still inflated from the TP event, I only really have 30k/30k stats if that.

No, the toilet paper is still shown. I just know that they're going to get completely destroyed in the coming weeks though, so I expect my stats to drop 25% back to the normal levels.

Pawn, what are your thoughts on loot drops decreasing during events because the chance of getting a box/note/bullet drop are factored in? It's been a long-held theory of mine but I've never actually done the digging or testing to see if rates fit together in some nice clean way.

Well I think everybody has some sort of opinion on this matter. It feels like I get fewer drops during events, however I think I just hit 3 last calls in a row. The theory would have grounds if the lockboxes interfered with the loot dropping, but since it drops along side of it there shouldn't necessarily be any interference.

I think it's just nonsense, yet that opinion is drawn on the lack of evidence to disprove anything.

Why do i never seem to find people who has wrote on my wall or friend requested me, in the rivals list??

There is this guy spamming my wall so i wrote back saying if i see you im going to get you. He then replied by insulting me and swearing. So now i REALLY want to get him! But i cant find him.. Been refreshing the list for two straight days, i can see a level up and one down, but this guy is nowhere to be found? Is this a common thing? I mean, he wrote my wall so he gotta be around here somewhere..

I dont know. I also got an answer in another thread saying he might have lower mafia or even not at my level but just wrote on my wall via another guys wall or something. But if i find him, he'll know it ;)

Well I just had 8 new failed attempts.

I had the same problem a few weeks ago trying to loot TLCs. I got 2 back to back then didn't see another one for over a week. Then they did an update and I have gotten one EVERY time. I'm up to 20 now but I think I'm done since for me they don't go into battle. I don't know what level you are or if you have the cartel compound open yet try to see if TLCs drop for you.

You're better off hitting Tere Anite - "Annihilate". While the buy in is steep, you get a 25% drop rate for TLC, and you only need 2 x 275 energy.

The other drop from the map is the California House, yet that is also a 25% drop rate but it costs 3 x 333 energy, making it less worth while. I'm up to 26 now, and in half the time it took me to get 8 from the limo job, I've gotten 18 more from Tere Anita.

I was in fact referring to Tere Anita. Pawn I think you were in that thread I was talking about. Yeah the drop rate for me has been 100% :) I was *****ing cause it wouldn't drop any then all of a sudden I get them everytime. I got 23 in a row. I have 25 now, Maybe ill shoot for 40-50 I just figured it was a waste of time since they don't go into battle but maybe that's because I got a few TP rolls left. I am getting a bump in attack but not the whole 25. what do you think?

TLC is a good item to farm because it's a non-consumable equivalent for napalm, and this way you'll never actually have to keep restocking your mafia. If you have your whole mafia outfitted with sarin gas, they somewhat get pointless, but they're never really "pointless" because sarin gas can blow up without you paying too much attention sometimes :/
