TOP 250 Leaderboard?? where is it and what's it for?

The race to the first 25 to kill the Turf war boss was obviously useless to 95% of players so what happened to the top 250?? Top 250 what?
Why am i still doing it.

my guess is they have not had 250 people complete killing the boss yet. when the 250th person does that time will be posted. of course now that the bullets have disappeared seems unlikely it ever happens!
