Well, why not do missions?
You can push the attack button for FREE on those silly missions.
Gree gets nothing, and you get the MW monkey fix you're craving.

When you have invested thousands into something that doesn't work there is a problem. If you dont get what you pay for, that's false advertising. If the game focuses on gambling its not a game. When you pay for something you expect it to work and it doesn't, you have every right to challenge it. I'd like to see your response if you paid for something that didn't work.

Jut read about the lawsuit against bio ware after the mass Effect 3 drama. It's very real, and absolutely justified.

Dravak, if this thread and it's message isn't for you, that's fine, there many threads in the forums that may be more suited to your tastes. From what You say, if I buy any defective product, it's my fault and not the manufactor. Fortunately there are laws that dispute this very thing, and put in place to protect the consumer from those that would take advantage of people. Not only would I think most will disagree with your assessment, but the law does too. Yes, we spent money on a product that did not function properly, but in the beginning we had no way of knowing this. We continued spending money, partly based on many insinuations and promises of rectifying those problems by the manufactor.now that it's quite obvious to everyone that there was never any intention on resolving things, we have stopped spending. Will that lead to a resolution? I honestly cannot answer that for sure. What I can say is that it's one of the only avenues we have of forcing change, and gree has proven they are all about making money. Will they respond and fix things so that their income levels will rise again? Or will they say its too much trouble and shut it all down, at least this game? I don't have the answers to that. I will say that if they tried the latter approach, I will move my efforts over to the next most profitable game for them, and I will double my efforts. There's other approaches that we have in mind too, but that's for later. I have not really explored trying to bring this boycott to the other games, but if I did, I'm very good at making things happen. I heard it was mentioned and ignored in crime city. I'm certain I could get the pot stirred up here too. I've heard there are many issues in the other games as well, and everyone deserves to have a working game. This thing can be stepped up many notches. as pj has said, we will evaluate progress each week to see where to go from there. Just look at the leaderboard for this event. Pretty meager compared to past ones. We are making an effect, and making ourselves heard.

There are other remedies a court can grant besides money.

That said, I won't be charging myself a dime for pursuing MY legal remedies.

I also won't charge my friends, should they seek my pro bono assistance, on their behalf.

But, I'll bet the TARGET of these lawsuits will spend a pretty penny defending my legal assault.

My lawsuit, should I choose to pursue it, has everything to do with holding shysters, conmen, and scammers accountable before the bar of justice.

I know one thing for sure, when Gree stops getting the money from the people you deride, dispect, and demonize; they'll pull the plug, if the court hasn't done it for them.

But, don't delete your game.

You don't have to play your game, and it costs you nothing more to ignore it.

You can even move the game icon to the last page on your device.

Out of sight, out of mind, but not out of options.

In order to sue anyone, you must have standing.

There are several ways to establish standing, but avoid the less traveled routes.

Opt instead to travel the interstate to a potential legal filing.

Keep the game, it makes it easier to establish standing, should you decide in six months that you wish to seek legal redress to address any tortious conduct you may have suffered.

GREE doesn't care at all about whether people leave the forum, and playing for free vs not playing at all is the same. The only time they care is the moment some one ACQUIRES gold (paying or tapjoy), or in the case of this boycott - when they notice a lack thereof.
If anything, limit PvP.
Personally I think it's a bigger point made to GREE if previous high-spenders started playing completely FREE! I see it as giving them a big fat middle finger^^

The challenge of a game is becoming better at it and beating it through skill and strategy, and for that purpose MW works completely ok, and is why I keep playing.
So what I want to say is, keep playing too, for *gaming's sake.
*gaming should not cost anything (from the point that you have the hardware, and acquired the game)

Right now I'm enjoying making progress in something, and I like that the game spans over very long periods of time, something I'm not used to as a gamer, when everything happens in (split-)seconds, minutes, hours, not days, weeks, months.
If I someday decide to quit MW, I will not regret putting the time into it, same as with the vast majority of games I've put lot's of time into.
(counter-strike, diablo 2, natural selection 1 & 2, STALKER)
If on the other hand MW is shut down and all our virtual trinkets along with all the work goes to hell - I'll be furious!
For a short time.
For now though, I'm playing it for FREE and will never play with gold. I do it for myself to overcome a challenge.
