Hello all,
normally when I get on, I see a few attacks, most I win, some lose. As of recent, all of them are losses
by some amazing players. I mean wow talk about great stats. This has never happened before and did not think there was whale territory, but perhaps I am wrong.
Some basic info is level 124, 65k attack and defense.
Some I have asked to ally with as always good to have friends in high places but regardless am very impressed with the their stats.
Am I missing something?

I was curious to know where the whale territory was at the moment. Thanks for sharing about it. I still have sometime to prepare myself.

I think there are whales in almost every level. Of course, most of them are in the 100+ level. If I guess correctly, I will say it starts at around level 110. I have allied (good allies, I may add) with some of them and their levels are usually hovers in above 110. New whales are still below the 100 level. You have dragons, I would not worry so much.

Whale territory is not as scary as it sounds or as bad as it is in MW.
I am level 119 (nearly lvl 120) and have a def of 85k.
My advise is go max allies, bulk up on HPs and pick up as many indestructibles from boss and box events as you can and farm for armour and weapons.

Whale Territory starts from level 120 , because most of heavy gem spenders are already 160+ and they will not be able to scan people below that level , so yeah better army up before people with over 300k attack will get on your ass xd

So I can still relax a bit. Level 113 with only 53k defence.

I suggest to get your defense at least in the 60+k in your level. Iam at 105 and average d is 45-55k.

LOL this is great info, unfortunately I have had my butt handed to me by these guys.
On the flip side they have some pretty cool units, but definately cannot go over vault.
Should have looked before moving over the 120 level, but oh well not much I can do now except see if some of them will ally with me.
Thanks for the info guys.

From what I've seen whale territory is level 120+. Because at this level you start getting attacked by players upto level 200. When you are below level 120 you only seem to get attacked by players around your level. I'm not sure why this is but maybe there's just a lack players in the high levels?

You're right... The limited number of high level players lets them dip into the lower levels on their rivals list.
By forum definition, Whale Territory begins at the level where HL players, the Whales, can see you but you cannot see them on the rivals list.

Yeah, I was all proud of myself, Mr. Can't Touch Me, with attack of 70k and 60k defense at level 70-72. Then 3 guys come along and slam me with 90 - 110k attack and over 80k defense. Sheesh.

Sorry :) I am truely not trying to be picky, but a "Whale" can only be a high level (HL) player who can see much lower level players on their rivals list, right? Even players with small stats are "Whales" if they are attacking well below their level... And with small stats, they probably need to.
And, ok, true... players at any level with outrageously high stats can be called "Whales" because whales will be whales no matter what level, but I really think "Whales" & "The Whale Pool" (aka "The Shark Pool" in CC) only pertains to HL players & the rivals list brackets, not stat size...

^ agreed. Level 200 players can see rivals down to level 120. I also doubt that there are many free players above level 150.

Yep. I am level 121 and can now see down to Level 117. The higher you get, the fewer the number of opponents in the same bracket so they expand accordingly.

It's quite odd. I'm level 124 and can see down to level 120 but I get attacked by level 200 players. I guess there's relatively few players over say 130 so they get a far greater range of levels to attack. If this is the case then the whale territory should increase as more people reach higher levels.

Those with good memory are also able to go back into their news feed and attack backed off a previous attack initially instigated by a player of any level. As long as its still in their news feed. I occasionally use this method to teach young punks a lesson or two.
