How on earth can they justify upping the price for gold when they are obviously making serious money from it as it stands?? If anything, it should come down in price. Greedy bastards.
I've spent just under 100 quid on gold in total since I started, ain't buying anymore..

Until they get a few months of non-growth they'd probably keep jacking up the price. It's how a company makes lots of profit on non-tangible goods. They raise the price gradually until they hit a tipping point, and obviously we haven't reached that point yet because the price continues to rise and we keep paying it.

I think a few weeks back one of the limited items was the Imparior... (179,140) or so and cost 500 gold! So this weeks car is a steal when you compare stats of previous items in that price range! Im gonna get some more for sure! I just have to look over my spreadsheet first! It would be even nicer if the Crazy Hit N Runner was working the way it should be!

Gold prices stayed the same for me, heck they even have their 20% off sale right now! I don't think this is a gimmick. I think they are either doing a test run or it's cost was mis-entered. Either way Im not gonna complain!

Thats when the sale came up for me! My prices never went up at all. Now that I think about it, I am pretty sure the price of $99.99 for in app purchases can't go up! I am pretty sure I read somewhere that was the highest amount that can be charged in app or depending what country or currency you live in the equivalent to that amount. (except for subscriptions). Someone please correct me if I am wrong...I will try to find the article I read regarding the $99.99

I believe you are right. I don't think google allows more than $99. This is where the bonus gold program comes into play.
