I like turtles.

Cookies are great. I had a fear of them as a child. It seems the Cookie Monster had me freaked.

Best cookie of all time?

For me it is difficult to pick. Oreo is classic. But I likes samoas too.

Decision, decisions....

I like the Golden Oreos, girl-guide cookies, and Le Petit Ecolier. Not necessarily in that order.

They sell those here, but they are called something else.
Girl guide cookies? What favors do the kiddies offer up ther? That's what the samoas are, Girl Scout cookies. Caramel, coconut cookies. Yum!

I eat cookies every day in my brown-bag lunch at work :) I like to mix 'em up a bit but usually end up with a Keebler or Chips Ahoy variety. Mmmmmmm

Those round, donut shaped ones with the solid chocolate bottom and the chocolate stripes on top?

Harry Tuttle

Heck yeah. And they've got caramel ones sorta like that too :)

I haven't seen those since I was in 6th grade. Richard Lyon used to have them for lunch all the time. His mom was hot.

Whippet is so good!

I just tried these the other day:

They're expensive for a box of cookies, but after tasting it I can tell why.

Hello Harry!^^^

I'm not big on the marshmallow fillings, but I like Rice Krispie treats.

Back when I was in high school, my friends and I would do whippits every so often. Ahhhh, good times until the balloon popped.

Oh, you were talking about the cookie. My bad.

In that case, I second Samoas. Those are pretty kickass.

Cheers Truth! Somewhere I saw rice crispy treats in the shape of Christmas trees, dyed green with the occasional red and yellow decorations.

You American guys get all the goodies. The best UK has to offer are crumpets and scones. Who wants to send me a box of those cookies?....

Same.

And all of those awesome cookies were available in Québec before they were available in at least Ontario, maybe even the rest of Canada.

Lol only you would appreciate it.... basically, first time I was in Montreal, I expected anglaphone prejudice and was amazed how nice everyone was, until we got out of the city..... I tried to buy a pack of "duMaurier" at a grocery store in Deux Montagne and the cashier insisted on pretending she didn't know what I was saying cause I said "light" instead of "legre". The friend that I was there with had moved away from the area when they changed the name from "Two Mountains" in the 70's ... something about English speaking public schools?

Yeah, people in the burbs can be quite ignorant. I was born in 73 so no first-hand knowledge of what the political climate was like here back then, but apparently it was pretty rough. The whole language police thing (the OLF) here would be the number 1 reason that I'd have no qualms about leaving the province. It disgusts me.
