Free Item for Playing Monster Quest?

So I hear some people talking about free item in CC and I heard something about free tapjoy gold for it too? I never recieved a banner like when modern war came out? whats the deal here? I dont have a tapjoy icon on my gold buying page either?

Brief synopsis: Those who didn't get the pop-up and sent in tickets have been told it's only available for a certain level range.

Most of us have been getting ticket replies that reflect that they didn't want everyone to get this weapon.

Some of us sent in tickets and received the Rampage, only to have support take the item back from our inventory... Still awaiting a response on that action. On the tapjoy icon on the gold page, I've never had one. Just use the actual Tapjoy app. Hope that helps!

When we can hook something up to a goal-like tally reliably, we do that so the reward goes out automatically. Otherwise if the choice falls between "try a cool thing that needs to be hand-awarded" and "not do a cool thing", we generally default to "try the cool thing". Because cool things are awesome.

Something's looking very inconsistent here.

A powerful item, with bonus, was erroneously awarded to hundreds of players and that was cool. Ok, fair enough, I agree that this was cool

However, a comparatively much weaker item that should be available to everyone who completes the requirements is being withheld from some players, awarded to others, and awarded and recinded from a third group of players.
