The trend seems to be boss, collect ten and then auction. so hopefully it'll continue

The trend lately would lean towards a collect 10 event.
When does the boss event end? The android collect 10 has 3 days left. Will be interesting to see what pops up next for that as well. Based on the last three weeks or so, a leaderboard event could pop up on android :( I'm hoping it doesn't. I'd love a crack at an elite boss event:)
