Pokemon is what came to mind for me when I saw the video. It made me think "hey, maybe my kids will like it" Then I thought how expensive Gree games are and what a disadvantage you're at if you don't drop the big bucks into them and now I can only hope they don't start playing.

It's just a promo for their new game. Splash screen appears in MW to download Monster Quest. After downloading the new game and getting to level 3, the Monster Hunter Heli is placed in your MW inventory. Got it on my LLP but not happy about it not popping up on my main account.

You are probably right about the gold sale being targeted at non-gold players. The proble was that it was advertised on twitter and that is a public forum. Therefore, it should have been made accessible to everyone.

As for the MQ splash screen and boss screens, I'm a quite positive it is a glitch. Why wouldn't they advertise the boss and new game to everyone? The more people that are exposed...the more chance of Gree making money.

I don't know if you have seen the CC thread about this same issue. Would appear that some have had good success with support ticket and others have been getting the same BS answer as you and others here have gotten. It's truly ridiculous how some of these things are handled.

I think the dev offer not for all Id number or base on certain situations, cause one of my id have splash screen that get the unit, but just now another Id have splash screen just offer to download MQ apps only without get the unit.

It is hard to know if this is a legit or a glitch. I never received the splash screen and sent in a ticket to support and I was told the same that it was limited by my progress in the game.

They may be limiting the release by level or it may be a glitch. But I haven't got the splash screen for the last two boss events. I sent in two support tickets on it but nothing has changed. Since I don't get the Boss splash screens I thought the MQ splash screen was part of the routine.

But if it is being limited, for the record I am level 54 and wonder what is everyone else's level who hasn't received the splash screen. Maybe there is a pattern here.

I'm level 80 and I haven't gotten the splash screen either. I also sent a ticket and got the same response about in game progress. They said everyone will get the same opportunity for the promotion at different times. Well, other people did get it and i haven't so i interpret their response as meaning that they will give me the opportunity later. I replied and asked for confirmation that this is what they meant, or if not, then for them to clarify what they mean. I'm not holding my breath waiting for an enlightening response.

the units showed up immediately... or at least they were there on my first check after reaching level 3. a pretty fair unit. it is in my battles now.

Didn't get the splashscreen at all on my iphone 4. I transferred my games to my friend's iphone 4 and immediately got the splashscreen on MW (L25) but not CC (L182) or KA (L100). Got the MW unit and transferred back. Maybe I'll try again on someone else's phone for CC and KA.

My iphone 3gs got the splashscreen on MW (L15) and CC (L30) but not KA (L17).

It must've been Stephan, he sucks as customer support!! I sent a ticket on Saturday that said I hadn't recieved a splash screen and many of my rivals had the Monster Hunter in their inventory and stated that it was unfair that players were not getting the same chance at the same time to recieve the unit. At 4:58 pm "A" stated that the promotion was for everyone and that you did not need a splash screen. He said all I need to do was download it from the store and play to level 3 and reply back to the email and he will gladly put it in my inventory. I download it yestreday and got to level 3and by 6:20pm, the Monster Hunter was running its first mission.

When I was in retail many years ago, we had this magical "special price key"...we were supposed to always write stuff down that we special priced when the computer didn't have the sale price right...after a while, you learned to stop writing it down, and if someone was whining about minute discounts on stuff that might not be included in the sale, you just give it to them. Of course that company is long gone, so... :D

I sent my ticket in late afternoon yesterday. I like the stats and the bonus. And MQ looks to be really well done. It looks like free/moderate spenders have potential to be more competitive than in MW. Not my kind of game though, but I'm going to set my kids up with it this weekend.

I never get splash screens so I never got it at all also. I did see a post of the splash screen somewhere on the forum though. It was not until I saw a few rivals that had the unit that I decided to download and just send in a ticket.

Downloaded MQ without the splash on both HLP an LLP, got them both past L3 just to be safe, took screenshots of both, sent them to support and am now the proud owner of the Monster Hunter on both accounts.... And it was "A" who sorted the whole thing.

Contact support. The best way to do that is throught the game. Open MW and hit the menu button at the botton right hand corner of your screen. When the menu button pops up hit the "More" button, bottom right corner again. The Hit the "Help" button. And on the pop up screen that show up you will see a button that says "contact Support" and email them your problem. "contact support" button should be top left corner.

I sent a ticket from my Modern War account saying no splash screen. "A" emailed to tell me to down load MQ, play it to level 3 and then email him. I did so, and he sent me an email confirming that he had added the Monster Hunter helicopter to my MW account (which he had).

After almost 2 weeks, I got a response from Stephen yesterday re: my KA ticket...I sent the ticket without my ID/device info...gave him the info and got my unit today. In fact, they gave me a stronger unit than the original...probably because I referred to an incorrect name in my ticket...but I'm cool with it.

Now, I suppose I could complain about the fact that it took 2 weeks, or that the original ticket I sent for both MW and KA only got handled for MW...but I have better things to do. :)
