Just wondering what others are hitting map creatures for to see if my hits are normal.

Hero Strength: 124
Weapon atk: 34
Armor atk: 22

I NEVER hit close to max, 180. Hits range from 95-127 usually.

Im roughly at the same spot with slightly better weapon/armor... I hit from 100-135 or so.
There seems to be a taper off for hero attack skill vs what damage is done to the monster.

I think what you're seeing is normal.

Hero strength 160
Weapon attack 40
Armor attack 22

Actual hits range 114 - 155 - also much lower, than the nominal.

I'm starting to get really discouraged on the value of Hero Strength. The only benefit (unless you like doing only Boss's which take 7+ hits) is to shave off a hit when killing a monster. Ie, instead of normally 3-hitting a mob you can 2-hit them. However, I've noticed that no matter how many pts I dump into Hero strength there's still 20-50 pts leftover on all the mobs on the good maps. Whether you have 3pts left or 120 pts on that 3rd hit, it's still taking you 3 hits to kill the thing. Then just when you can almost 2-hit them you complete a mastery level and they get a few more hp's to set you back. At this rate it'll take until lvl 200 before you can actually shave a hit off the higher map mobs.

PS: can anyone confirm if they cap you at 200 skill pts in a single category?

Yes yes hero strength goes on and on if you got the skill points to add to it. With hero strength it helps you damage the monsters more saving your energy bar aswel. You cant tell the different with a few hero strength put into it but a lot you can actually see giving less hits to monsters. It also works for boss events :)
