Scratchers or Crates?

i've done mostly scratchers and have never won any serious weapons so far. but same with crates, didn't win any serious weapons with massive attack/defense. still, earning crappy $10,000 doing scratchers feels like you've been slapped in the face. so 'now' i prefer to open crates. although 3x costly than scratchers but i think that's a better option.

if you were to choose between scratchers and crates, which one would you go for? scratchers or the crates or both suck acc. to you?

i've been amazingly lucky! i've won many of those awesome ripper blades that have 21/30 attack/defense. i have also won many 25/35 att/def jeeps and what not. scratchers are amazing! not!

has anyone ever won something cool with the 'free scratchers'? would be interesting to know if someone really won a heavy weapon/armor/vehicle with 1000+ att or def while opening free scratchers.

definitely crates but wait until the common can help u with stats.
scratchers is something unpredictable, once i won x6 car but nothing special after that

Crates. But wait for a really good set of crates to come out so you get max benefit.

What I mean by good set is close to the Ammo Crates value.

A fair amount on both, the scratchies aren't something too dismiss totally, as I bought
About 1kg worth of them to try out for a major prize (no joy) but did get some
Medium type weapon, there was a lot of crappy cash but there was also a lot of respect
Approx 20k worth which I thought was quite good. So not only a lot of small weapons
But a couple of mediums and a lot of respect items.
All in all at the moment I'd say evenly matched , depending on your level and the amount
Of respect items you have, as you may be maxed out already

Scratchers suck. Ive used well over a vault and including daily openings i have never gotten better than 4x prize...with MANY crap $10k or 250 respect prizes...

i hope gree is reading this thread. please look at the poll results. scratchers are good just for the RP points. otherwise, they're crap. i think, there should be a guaranteed big item for opening X number of scratchers.

for example, open 20 scratchers and guaranteed win 1 major item like that fire monster truck or something similar.

the whole idea is to "win something nice" not just keep getting those crappy blades and jeeps that don't add to ur attack/defense at all.

someone buys a whole vault of gold and spends it on scratchers, they shouldn't feel like they've been slapped in the face when they are done burning 1500 gold.

Scratchers are great for low levels, and can make the diff from a player with good stats to a player with great stats. Higher level players will be enter with crates. The free scratcher is only given away to Make sure you login everyday.

seems to me gold is better spent on events...especially the boss events, where each boss defeated is like opening a crate

When u have high stats, events are better. Medium to highish stats crates are best. Low stats scratchers are ok.

well crates are better but if I had gold or was goig to buy gold I would want crates that had a chance of vehicle and/or explosive in them. until you reach level 135 all explosives you can buy that do not cost gold are consumable. Of course explosives from event are usually non consumable. but both vehicles and explosives are the two parts of your gear that lag behind the abundant armor, guns and melee.

game money is just fine. i know 100 mil is a big boost in lower/mid levels but its nothing above level 125. also, game money can be collected through a number of different ways (income, robbing, attacking, doing jobs, etc).

winning something like a fire monster truck or an Exosuite that has 1000+ attack or defense is a totally different thing. there is "no way" you can buy those weapons except being super lucky with scratchers/crates or burning heaps of real money on events/contests.

I wouldn't say that. Pretty sure that I'd be thrilled to win $100,000,000 and I'm at level 162 with a 750k IPH. It would sure beat the $10,000 I've been getting from the aeronautics boxes.

i did say that $100 mil is a "big boost" but that's still achievable by robbing, collecting, etc. can you get an exosuite (some 450 attck and 1000+ defense) any possible way except spending real money on gold?
u can get game money without throwing some real money but there's no way for getting those sick weapons unless you're damn rich 'and' damn lucky :)
