Turk, there's players who have spent 3 vaults on the 10 item events and haven't won. And I don't remember them taking away the auction events to even necessitate a demand to bring them back. Check your game around noon PST tomorrow and I'm sure you'll find one.

Android got that too. That was the best one. Top 50/500 and BOTH got a modifier. Thier first 25/250 gave both a modifier as well but with the top 500 in the mix at least a free player has a chance. For some reason the last 3 top 250 prize has been weakened AND had no modifier. Those were the only 3 I didnt get.

i spent 3800g and didn't take the 10th (i really wanted the modifier) but this was the first 10/10 event that i missed the top prize.
top 250 don't have good modifiers

I liked the 10/10 events. We weren't competing against the other players, we were just competing against the luck of the draw. Personally, I was never in either of the auction events or the 10/10 events, but the items were cool up to the 9th item. The 10/10 events I at least got 3 items, maybe 4 if I was lucky. Here in the auction events only twice have I made it past 15 :p I usually end up with 2 of the prize items :/

Have you anounced your gang to support? maybe they are not aware of it.
Don't give it up, i always take back some of the gold i spend.
ask support to learn about this program
it is not discussed oftenly of course but you can understand why

to the last top 250/25 event i started the event 36 hours later because of an account problem.
i got 23 boxes without using gold at all (very lucky)
to the 10/10 event i used 3800 gold. Afteh i got 9th i oppened more than 100 with gold and didn't get 10th (extremely unlucky)
i am thinking that maybe there is a code written by the programmers that balances luck to players

The events, normally, are targeting big spenders, or at least those who can drop a lother of money. While i do not have a big problem with this as it is how the servers and staff are paid for, it does lead to a two tier system. Those who can afford the push to the big units get a big bonus that is not available to those who can't spend that much.

There is a big trade off between screwing free players and reducing player base as a result, and disincentivizing gold purchase by making things too easy to obtain free. One that i do not think Gree has really nailed yet.

One possible solution is to have a two tiered event. One for low or no spenders, where the main prizes have a much smaller boost, or lesser stats, but much easier to obtain if your on a budget, with the higher tier as they are now. It is unlikely to have an effect on big spenders, but would encourage people who don't spend much to spend a little.

At this moment, i do not spend gold on events as the return is very poor at the level I am willing to spend.

Ever since the 10/10 event started, it has become my most fav event especially the grand prize that has sweet modifiers & somewhat I feel that getting the grand prize is really achieveable (unless boss event kick start on android). In the previous two 10/10 events, I hv managed the 10th for both w/o spending any gold & I'm thankful for being lucky. As for the 20/20, I've never gotten top 25 nor 250 even though spending some gold & opening at least 15 boxes a day. I'm a casual gold spender hence IMO top25/250 is not within my grasp & I hv also failed to get the 15th or 20th item on a few occasions. >_<

No, high level low spenders still suffer.

I think Ramshutu means is an event where small spenders can still win, but lower stat items.

The 20/20 events are already like this. You get to top 25/250 you get a badass weapon(there's your big spenders). You do all cash opens or a small amount of gold and get 20/20 you get 4 "decent" gears with the 4th item usually having 100+ stats(there's your lower spenders or free players).

The 10/10 events are a crap shoot in my opinion. It seems like it is already decided whether I am one of the people who will get the item at the start of an event. Sounds weird I know, but thats my conspiracy theory. I am 1 for 3 in 10/10 events over the last few months. This last one I "wasted" gold on but didn't make it to #10. I am a gambler so yea.... and it was gold I got for free so I really didn't have to go out of pocket...

EDIT: There is also nothing wrong with Gree targeting the big spenders. From a business standpoint it makes perfect sense, and Gree(d) is, after all, a business, so why should they really care about the free players who don't pay their salaries? I am a free player, and in my opinion a company should still offer a game WITHOUT BUGS OR GLITCHES, to all players, and still offer better things to those willing to spend some $$$.

The only time I've ever even dared to ask for a gold refund was during the leader board fiasco for (correct me if I'm wrong here) the iOS auto crate event. They did refund me, but that was because it was clearly their mistake.

I would never dream of asking for a refund just because I spent a lot of rm or gold trying to get the 10th prize. Do you ask for a refund at the casino or a poker game when you don't win?

use the trick.. don't open all hours.. and u got 10/10 with out gold....

if ur open all hours, u fail or get nothing... try to open 1.30h / 2 hours..u succes i'm sure after...
